Hi guys,
I put together a side earlier today and have made some improvements using some of the comments and sides from this forum.  I would appreciate any feedback that you have because there are a number of guns in our work league and I WANT SOME RESPECT!!!!!!!

Backs:   B. Goddard    B. Gibbs    G. Birchall   G. Broughton    C. Yarran    J Pittard    (B Goodes   S. Docherty)
Mids:    D. Swan    S. Pendlebury    L. Shuey    N. Fyfe    L. Ball    A. Embley    K. Mitchell   J. O’Meara   (B Crouch    J Viney)
Rucks:  J. Roughhead    M. Leuenberger  (C Sinclair    D Currie)
Fwds:   D Cox     S Johnson    T Rockliff    T Varcoe    S Byrnes    B Macaffer  (B Staker    T Lee)

Rem in Salary Cap 232,000

I know 232,000 is a lot of loose change but I have a feeling that a lot of my mid ranges will progress and I'm not sure how to use the money to upgrade a newby to a player of value.  I also found having a bit of extra money useful last year updating my cash cows to a premium early on in the season.

i like every line i cant fault them but

use the extra cash to upgrade Varcoe/Byrnes only suggestion i have lol

Ferrets007

Thanks for the comment kilbluff but I am having trouble finding anyone to upgrade varcoe or byrne to.

I have been burnt by Cloke in the past but I had not really been aware of Wright.  What is his CV?

Sorry, this is my first time on the forums and am not good on the jargon.  I was just after a bit of background on wright and his prospects of improving his value this year.

lol don't know a lot about him but had a breakout season last year with some big scores most people think he is a decent pick

Ferrets007

I like the idea of having someone different and will probably put him in for Varcoe but willl keep an eye out for how Breust and Martin go in NAB since they are about the same price.  Breust could an option if Varcoe is on fire because I could afford him as a swap for Byrnes.  Thanks heaps for the advice Kilbluff because I was starting to go around in circles having just started today.

really like it but don't think you need Yarran at D5 i'd rather spend the cash upgrading Ball/Embley

I really feel that the scoring power of Ball and Embley will match if not exceed that of newby and premium.  This year with 30 trades I don't feel rushed in establishing premiums on each line.  I reckon I will make more money from Ball and Embley since they will be playing from day 1 and have proven records even though coming back from injury.

fair enough call

Ferrets007

Just read someone's comment about Andy Otten looking fit and ready to fire.  He has been a reliable money maker for me the past despite getting injured.   Does anyone think that Otten at 276000 is a better option than Chris Yarran at 362,000?
