I would look at option 1 - Personally think Wingard/Mullett will make cash more quickly for you than Monfries.  Dwyer set for a big increase this week as well.

Early Rounds to make cash.

Thankx Ringo, that's the one I'm leaning towards aswell, dunno who to take out of Mullet and Wingard though, Mullet had probably been the more impressive against quality opposition but Port's draw is still pretty easy over the next few rounds aswell

Ringo

Just go with gut and make a guesstimate as to which out of Wingard or Mullett will make the most cash for upgrades as neither will be a keeper. Both priced around the same and with similar negative B/e will rise about the same. Which one has the higher ceiling is any ones guess.

So.....in a world of hurt and after a few pretty awful weeks i'm packing it in for overall and just focusing on my leagues

Problems: Tex, Pittard, Mundy, Gibbs, Goodes, Jacobs, Mullet (Topped out probably), Dangerfield......

what the hell do i do this week?

Initially had Blicavs -> Gawn and Tex -> Stevie J.......but this leaves at least one donut down back (Gibbs, Pittard, Goodes), possibly three (Brown, Docherty), which isn't ideal

I wish i could use 6 trades this week :p

Cash left: 30,000.....trades left: 25

HELP!!

felsty

Walker > SJ
Pittard > Laird

im guessing thats about your only option if you dont want to eat a donut, or like you said trade mullet man over for another premium but i dont think you have the money to afford that.. perhaps mullet > laird and keep the change for upgrades the week after? that defence will be needing it with heath and stevenson beginning to ripen up!

colmullet

yeah only issue i have is Pittard still has cash to make.....i wish i didnt pull the trigger early on Stevenson -> Docherty before final teams were neamed, thats made things tough especially if Docherty doesnt hold his spot. Mullet to Laird is interting i hadnt considered, i kinda like that......only thing i wonder is how is Laird's JS? more vests coming?
and if i do that i miss Gawn for Blicavs who looks to have topped out and Gawn looks to have a spot locked down for a while one would think

Would you do you do Walker out and Viney out?

Swing Goodes to mids and get Hartlett in down back. Low BE, flying and should be a keeper to join Birchall, Goddard and Gibbs.

Move Rowe forward (for now) and get Gawn for money money money.

Next week, Blicavs out and Rowe back to R3/4.

Another player will increase in value (say Mullett) and you'll have Blicavs and the Mullett and a little cash totalling around ?? $600000 which will get you a decent player and a rookie.

Or hold Blicavs and trade say Dwyer or Macaffer to total around $680000 = SJ and a rookie.

colmullet

hmmmm pretty good plan man i like it, see how well it holds up when teams are named tomorrow :p

colmullet

Alright, i've decided that im out of the overall picture completely so trading purely to avoid donuts is off the cards. So i'm trading

Tex -> Stevie J
Mullet -> Gawn moving Blicavs onto the mid bench and fielding Viney.

It hurts but looking to the back end of the season now and Goodes/Pittard/Docherty should all make more dollars and Gibbs should score well when he returns

tor01doc

You'll get fat.

Avoid the donut by holding Walker.

Pittard out for Terlich.

Gibbs out for Hartlett.

colmullet

Yeah I thought about doing something like that but I'm not overly keen on Hartlett with his injury history plus Ports draw toughens up and I'd like to see what he does up till the byes before I take that plunge.

I would love to avoid the donuts but realistically I'm sitting way to far back overall to worry about that side of the comp, by doing this I grab Stevie j who I wanted pre season and has a small BE now so it's the perfect time and cull a topped out cash cow for a rookie ruck with decent JS who will come in handy through the byes aswell

colmullet

ok instead of copping the two donuts i've changed my mind.....again haha i think Gawn is to good to miss out on especially when we will need playing rucks so trading Walker->Gawn via Rowe DPP and then Pittard who port have said will miss a few and will be careful with him to Terlich who seems to have good JS and still plenty of cash to make, would be great if there was a bubble boy.....or if Port played after Richmond cuz then i would consider Ellis....but Terlich should do the job

tor01doc

So just the one donut at this stage?

Good lateral thinking too.

yeah just the one providing Brown plays which word is hes passed the test, hopefully Gibbs returns next week or Docherty gets a recall, if not then ill deal with that when it comes across, probably trade in Vlastuin for Mullet then switch Goodes to the mids bench and avoid the donut that way

colmullet

Alright here's my team heading into this round:

This week i think Byrnes and Mullet are the two to be cut, both have maxed out and ready to go

Looking at Byrnes -> Stevie J as a lock

Mullet i have a couple of options:

1) Vlastuin, will also provide cover down back if Gibbs and Docherty are both still out along with Goodes this week
2) Hannath by moving Blicavs onto the mids bench, has a higher negative breakeven than Vlastuin
