As an afterthought if after the Jones and Gawn trade will you have enough cash to go Lonergan to Stanton if you like him of course. Has bottomed out and will give you another prem in mids. May mean missing Martin though but risk may be worth it,
Will this allow other trades to proceed as well.

Ill have to run the maths and see but maybe, I'm not overly keen on Stanton/Bombers though for the most part, for mine there's to much conjecture about what will happen with ASADA and players being allowed to play after their findings in the back end of the season so I'm preferring to look at Jelwood/Jack/Griffen/Deledio/Fyfe/Swan/Swallow just to avoid a nasty shock later.

Have two options this week for the trades:

1: M.Jones -> Hrovat, Rowe -> Nicholls, Terlich - > Hanley

only downside of this is Hanley is due for a decent price dip but does set my team up well for this and next week to field 20+ players each round

2: M. Jones -> Hrovat, Rowe -> Nicholls, O'Meara -> Swan

Swan has a BE of 43 and at ~$530K isnt going to get any cheaper through the year. Does give me round 13 bye problem in the mids but my other lines should be full for round 13 so ill still field 19 players if all are named

Option 1 leaves me with ~539.4K left in the bank and 9 trades left

Option 2 leaves me with $569K left in the bank and 9 trades left

I think the outs this week should include

Evans
Rowe
and maybe JJK if you were planning on getting rid of him anyway eventually.

Evans to Hrovat.
JJK could go to B Kennedy - will play and has a predicted price rise of $38000 this week.
With the cash this frees up you could get Minson (or Nicholls if you want really fast cash) and get Minson or NicNat the following week.

So add points from these 3 compared to the outs and you'll be a long way ahead.

Round 13 then looks like you'll have 6 / 5 + O'Meara's replacement / 2 / 5 plus Caff's replacement = 20 on field.

Also - you could move Blicavs into mids at some stage after round 12 if he is selected to free up a ruck spot. Or give Jacobs the A R ESS E after round 12.

The last defender is a problem because none are firing but Hanley, Shaw, Heppell, Hibberd would all be fine.

Last mid spot may go to Watson / Swan depending upon whether or not you get a round 11 mid this week.

I still doubt Mundy is a genuine top shelf mid ( only 2 scores over 115 and average of 101) so he may go later as a luxury trade if you have enough left over.

yeah the plan for round 13 for these two options is if i go option 1 then O'Meara -> Jelwood and Macaffer -> NicNat in round 13 to pretty much finish things off for a little while

if option 2 then Terlich -> Hanley once his price drops and Macaffer -> NicNat.

Then ill be left with 7 trades and Goodes at D6, Mitchell at M8 and a full team everywhere else

then later on look at goodes,  JJK, Sauce and Mundy as upgrades for finals

Next Week:

Macaffer -> Hanley via Staker, O'Meara -> Jelwood

How does that compare to:

Rowe -> Nicholls, Terlich -> Hanley, M.Jones -> Hrovat.........O'Meara -> Jelwood, Macaffer -> NicNat

or

Rowe -> Nicholls, M.Jones -> Hrovat, O'Meara -> Swan/Barlow/Deledio...............Terlich -> Hanley, Macaffer -> NicNat

The comparisons both have you getting in Nic Nat whereas the Top does not comparison would depend on how you rate Nic Nat v Selwood,

Of the options given prefer the very last.

so i'm down to 8 trades and 120K in the bank and looking to make probably my last upgrade and save 6 trades till finals time bar long term injuries.

it comes down to upgrading Blicavs to Swan or Goodes to Shaw....so its between playing:

Swan and Goodes or Shaw and Mitchell/Martin/Blicavs

leaning towards Swan and Goodes

Swan Average 120 Goodes Average 85 say 205 ppg average
Shaw Average 110  Mitchell/Martin/Blicavs also 85 so you would be losing 10 points average.

Swan also has the capability of going huge which may get you over the line in some league matches.

Thankx Ringo, was leaning that way for sure, now i've got the Bircall problem with his injury supposedly ruling him out for 4-6 weeks, i think if i have cover ill still grab swan jsnt because his price is set to go bang, and worry about Birchall next week. However if i have no playing cover it becomes a massive pain in the backside!

so im in a bit of a pickle down the back (like everyone else), my original plan this week was Rowe -> McBean and Blicavs -> Swan.....but if one of Thurlow/Docherty arent named then i have problems (if they are ill stick to getting in Swan)

In the case that they are not the midfield upgrade will have to wait and i have a few little ideas for this week in this case:

1: Goodes -> Burbury (If Named), Staker down back and then Birchall -> Premo Def

2: Goodes & Birchall -> McKenzie & Waters.....have a feeling Waters might find some form in the back end of the season.

Ill take on board any other suggestions tho guys!

Goodes - Oxley (DPP with Staker so you can play Staker this week
Birchall - Ibbotson or Heppel

Next week you will have a stack of cash to go
Blicavs - Swan

Thanks mate, yeah i've tossed around that idea a bit, just don't know how comfortable i am fielding Staker at D6 through to finals haha
