Hope Gibbs plays for you.

Would Blicavs and Wines out allow you to afford NicNat and Staker?

Selwood good too but not scoring so well at the moment.

Or NicNat and Lonergan? Shift Dwyer mid to get NicNat?

colmullet

i hope so aswell he's been wasting away on my bench for weeks!! might be a nice little POD when hes back tho

Na i cant afford nic nat by any of those means, i only have 18.3K in the kitty this week before trading. I would love to get him in but maybe look to Dwyer in two weeks for that to happen maybe.

i was thinking a double downgrade this week of Blitz/Wines -> Staker/(Lonergan/Kavanagh/Schroder) but yeah i dunno, would help if there was a nice looking rookie mid on the bubble but doesnt seem to be a lot there

With injury to Wellingham keep an eye on what West Coast do with Mark Hutchings.  Has had one game with a 55 SC score. May be a downgrade option for you as well.

colmullet

yeah thankx Ringo :) ill be looking Colq aswell, might get a decent little run with Carlisle going down on the weekend

running a little low on ideas for the week, one option i was looking at was

Goodes -> Lonergan (other mid rookie??)
Wines -> J. Selwood

only leaves me with $100 in the kitty.

i think Wines is the only one who has to go this week but really struggling to find a bubble rook or should i just take on Lonergan on price rise to late?

Where's Gibbs going to play?

Pretty full team and no urgency really to offload Goodes.

I'd wait a week and cash in a couple then.

Actually get rid of serial pest Shaw, move Gibbs back, Goodes to mids, Wines out, Webster or Staker down back and grab Cotchin or Selwood.

The week after, Staker can swing forward after Macaffer goes out and Goodes can slot back to D4. Leaves you a spot in the mids and add $216,900 (Viney) and see what's left.

It all depends on this week's priorities - overall -> Shaw out. Easy league -> hold Shaw. Tough must win cash league -> Shaw out.

colmullet

well i'd love to have Gibbs down back eventually of course, its just hard to juggle all the DPP moves haha

i could trade Wines to Staker which means both Gibbs and Goodes would be in the mids......which isn't ideal

then when i dump Macaffer i can move Staker forward but unless i pick up a DPP rookie (Hopefully Colq holds his spot) defender Gibbs and Goodes will still be in the middle because you can only make one positional switch during a trade.....

tor01doc

You could move Gibbs into the spot vacated by Shaw.  ;)

colmullet

hehe true :p would be nice to know the deal with Shaw's "injury" cuz if its a Gibbs situation i will definately trade

bandaids galore it seems!

options for this round im throwing around:

1. L. Brown/M.Gawn -> Staker, Terlich -> Hanley/H.Taylor
2. L. Brown/M.Gawn -> Staker, M. Jones -> Jelwood

Option 1 with L.Brown out means i only have Staker and Goodes as my on field rookies and dont need to field one of Thurlow/Brown/Docherty which will be nice. With M.Gawn out i can move Rowe back onto my rucks bench to re-open the DPP link with Cox.

Option 2 leaves O'Meara as my only mid rookie on field

other concerns are the mids bench who at this point might not be able to be fielded during byes which is a concern, one of those will probably become Hrvat round 12

Ringo

With Terlich a possibility of playing this week I would consider this

Brown to Staker and depending your thoughts on Jacobs maybe Jacobs to Nat

colmullet

yeah i have been toying with that one in my head for a few weeks now, he is definately frustrating me, i was going to try and fill my team with premos and then access the Jacobs situation along with my trades after that but ya reckon its getting to the point where hes just gotta go?

colmullet

Team as it stands pre-bye rounds

The Plan:

Rd 11:

Jones -> T. Mitchell
Gawn -> Burbury (Move Rowe back into the ruck)
Lonergan -> Martin (?)

Rd 12:

Viney -> Hrovat
Rowe -> Nicholls
Terlich -> Hanley

Rd13:

O'Meara -> Choice of Premo possibly Selwood if he shows a little something
MaCaffer -> Nic Nat

That will leave me with a full team besides one of Mitchell/Hrovat/Martin making up the last mid spot and Goodes at D6 which i don't think is to bad n then once those mid rookies fatten up over the second half of the season ill pick up an in form premo for the run home

Decent plan?

I think i should be able to field 18 a week if i play this plan out aswell....i think

Ringo

Do not mind the plan at all. Burbury will he appear after the bye rounds though is a slight question mark.

I would be tempted to keep MacAffer though if he is still rising in cash and trade Jacobs to Nat if Jacobs does not find form moving Cox to Rucks.

colmullet

yeah it is an option i thought about.....but do you think that after i go through all of this, to have Goodes plus one of Mitchell/Hrovat/Martin plus Macaffer on field with only 7 trades in the bank is a little thin for a full side? i will watch Jacobs for sure and he is a worry i just dunno if i can afford to trade out a "premium" this early in the season, if he hasnt turned it around with 2 or 3 rounds before finals he will get the flick to a Goldstein/Minson i would think
