Hey everyone,
Please give me your thoughts on this team.
Top 1,000 finisher last 2 years... Hoping to crack top 100 in 2013.



Some comments:

Backline:
Danyle Pearce I think may really excel in an up and coming Freo side. Will most likely be used as a wingman/running half back. His career best average is 85 (in 2012) however that was with Port where he copped a hard tag almost every week. Will watch closely during NAB.

Midfield:
No Ablett - too expensive for my liking. No Pendlebury/Swan - have a gut feeling they won't set the world on fire in the first couple of rounds, thus may loose money. Have decided to go with Watson & Kennedy due to attractive first few rounds. Love Selwood, Murphy under priced and should perform under Mick. Loving the news that Fyfe has added some bulk. Will watch Koby Stevens closely during the NAB, alot of hype last year, hard in and under midfielder at new club should get games.

Forwards:
Forward line runs deep with Varcoe & Byrnes F5 & F6 respectively due to lack of rookies (best rookies in mid/def lines) and expecting an average of 80 from both. News that Varcoe could provide run off half back is exciting and Byrnes in leadership group will play every game (if fit). Big Tex to go BANG in 2013... especially with their fixture! What a unit!!!

Have not really worried too much with DPP players (i.e. Broughton/Staker B/F both in defence... no link with COX as R/F) this just gives me trading flexability during the season i.e. If Goldy fails... Cox to rucks and bring in another forward.

I have $3,100 left in the bank.
