Hey guys, just wanted to get some feedback about my team ;D

DEF: Goddard, Gibbs, Duffield, Broughton, Goodes, Terlich, (Docherty, Oxley)

MID: Swan, Ablett, Boyd, Pendlebury, Redden, Ball, Embley, Viney, (Crouch, O'Meara)

RUCK: Martin, Leuenberger (Witts, Daw)

FWD: Franklin, Cox, Rockliff, Staker, Macaffer, Lee, (Daniher, Dick)

$8,800 Remaining. All rookies to adjust for round one.

Still in its early days, What do you think?

kilbluff1985

Martin = no

BOYD = i'd prefer someone younger Boyd might start declining in scores this year

Forward line way to weak need at least 4 premos

mids you don't need Ball or Embley 5 premos is enough 7 non rookie players is crazy

so ditch ball+embley upgrade Martin get in another forward

JoeKing

Thanks for the response bluff, will definiatly consider these options.

DEF: Looks good, I'd go Colquhoun over Goodes and Pittard over Oxley, but thats just me. 8.5/10
MID: Too strong imo. Downgrade Ball to a rookie, say Lonergan, and lose Boyd for Mundy/Fyfe. That should free up some money. 7/10
RUC: Upgrade Martin to a premium. 6/10
FWD: Downgrade Buddy to SJ or Pav or someone. Then upgrade Dick someone. Your Forward line is to weak. 5/10
Overall: 26.5/40 sorry for being harsh

Boyd certainly isn't the worst pick.  He's going to get you an average of at least 110, so if you want to start him then go for it.  I won't be starting him personally but will probably end up bringing him in at some point.  Agree with Martin.  Get rid of him.  Downgrade Ball or Embley (or both) and use the cash to get a better ruckman in.  You do also look a light in the forward line, so if you have enough cash left over look at getting someone like Wright or Dusty in if you can.

Needs a little more work, but with a few downgrades/upgrades it will be back on track.

Nrich, that was not harsh at all, it was constructive critism that will be taken on board. The problem with buddy is that im scared im going to come across some who has him in my league!

Yeah, i see your point

JoeKing

Martin, was a lat resort because of limited cash. i know there is a lot of it in the middle, so ill work on that. who do you reccommend to be with berger?

Goldstein

Is goldstein consistent enough, is the question i have heard been asked quite often?

Chelskiman

At the very least he will be more consistent than Martin.  He does have the ability to average 95+ and at his price he could be a steal.  It's a better risk than what you were originally going for with Stefan Martin anyway.

Good points! I was always going to get rid of Martin, i just needed to free up a little cash in the middle, but who to take out was my question?
