So Tom mitchell's BE is -176, and Nicholls is -123 that's some large Smallnumbers!!

If Martin performs well which I'm fully anticipating it will leave people with the dilemma of trading in him and/or Nicholls the week before their bye.

That's what I call a sticky wicket.

Got both this week  :P. Didn't get mitchell in though which maybe was the better option, hard to see martin beating 144. Double upgrade next week, get mitch in after his bye.

Tom Nicholls is a gun! Was only hoping for 60 odd but got nearly double that. May have to play him as r2 ahead of maric for the rest of the year  :P

Hoping for a 60-65 ave for nicholls for the year, not going to get 10 tackles each week but should get 25-30odd hitouts a week!

Mr.Craig

Just looking at my team I think getting both Martin and Nicholls could be workable. It still isn't too bad with my bye structure but would leave me with 2 rookie mids at the end of the Round 13 which wasn't the plan. However, I'd then have around 600k in the bank to go bang-bang in Round 14.

disco1992

I'm really tossing up between, hrovat and 19 players available in round 13 or Martin and 18 players available in round 13!!

stew42

Now I'm thinking is it worth not doing upgrades for the sake of bringing in these gun rooks.

Eg. My planned trades next week were:
Viney to Hrovat
and
Terlich to Birchall or Gawn to Kreuz/Goldy/Minson

Week after:
Jo'M to Mitchell
Crouch/Murphy to Barlow/Jack

But is it worth bringing in the premos one or two weeks late and going
Viney to Hrovat
Crouch to Martin

Week after:
Jo'M to Mitchell
Gawn/Rowe to Nicholls

I guess doing the second option means I can make upgrades for the next two rounds without worrying about byes... What are your thoughts?

disco1992

Nichols will be more expensive than Rowe and gawn next week! Hopefully Martin spuds up so we don't have to get him! Before the bye(doubt he will though, he will probably go big like mitchell)

Martin has a rd 13 bye. I'm not bringing him in even if he tons up. I really want to try and gain an advantage in rd 13. I have 3 premo midfielders with rd 13 bye and JOM. JOM will be traded out rd 13. I will already have one donut in the midfield in rd 13 and I don't want any more.

stew42

Fair enough, but I figure I'm already stuffed Rnd 13, might as well do well Rnd 14 onwards :D

Sure, just thought I would mention how the byes would figure in your trades.
