i think he was just telling him he had to line up in the 'far queue' to get a beer as he would no longer be batting

edit: my mistake i think he was telling him to get a beer off the guy with the 'far cough'

The Aussies bowled well, but I really really wanna see Gayle and Polly doing what they do best...

But Andre Russell man, that guy can hit! Sign him for BBL|03 please somebody  8)

Shane Watson NEEDS to open the batting for Australia in Test matches. He is our best opener. Nuff said

Nails

No, he's a shower bloke who throws away his innings because he does not have the required maturity levels to be an opening batsman in test cricket.

TheAnt

By the stats Warner is our best opener currently. I just think Cowan should be given one last chance to prove himself.

Considering Australia already plays like 4 openers, there's no need for Cowan to have another chance...

Keep the chopping and changing going!  ::)

Watson needs to open the batting or not play at all. I think if he works on becoming solely a batsman he can work on making some big scores and become a good scoring batsman throughout the last couple of years of his career.

PowerBug

I think it's amazing how just after the T20 World Cup he was by far Australia's most valuable player. In that comp he was opening the batting, scoring runs. Opening the bowling, taking wickets. And fielding at first slip. I know T20 doesn't mean much as i say that myself but it's still a massive difference from the Watson of October/November.

Well I think as a fit allrounder, he is definitely Australia's most valuable player in every format of the game. Even as a batsman he still in the top few as he can just explode and tear apart an opposition attack. He is vital to us winning the Ashes and he has to open instead of that spud Cowan.
