No,personally i dont think we would of Noz.Things had to change, and as much as we all respected Matty and we all wanted it to work,it wasn't.He really was on a hiding to nothing.The club was at fault on several fronts but at the end of the day the buck stops at him.The sweeping changes on and off the field had to happen,but the problem was it should of happened 3-4 years ago.
I know you cant compare with these blokes but the change made at Collingwood when Eddie and Mick took over was game changing.The excitement for me comes from the external experience that Hinkley and Richardson will bring to this young group of footballers.Lots of hard tough times ahead still ,but to me now the only way is up.
