Greetings fellow fantasy nuts..

Below is my first attempt at a team for 2013

Would appreciate some feedback/thoughts, cheers. :D

Backs:
Goddard, Stanley, Gibbs, Watts, B Smith, Staker (Docherty, Terlich)

Mids:
Watson, Cotchin, Pendles, Dangerfield, Ball, Whitfield, Crouch, O'Meara (T Mitchell, Viney)

Rucks:
Maric, Leuenberger (Grundy, Currie)

Forwards:
Franklin, Rockliff, Tex, Wright, Knights, Daniher (T Lee, T O'Brien)

Thanks guys.

Watts & Smith down back may be a tad risky given there a plenty of good rookie talent floating around down there.

The mids need GAJ or Swan.

It's a good unique team...

Backs: I like the pick of Stanley, he'll be unique and will average 90+. Goddard and Gibbs are obvious picks. Watts and Smith I would question, as Windi did. You could bring in any of (in order of my preference): Pittard, Goodes, Heath, Stevenson, Colquhoon. It's your choice whether to downgrade one and upgrade the other, downgrade both, or keep them (they are reasonable smokeys!) Your other rookies are good :) 7.5/10

Mids: Again, as Windi said, GAJ or Swan need to be in there. The downgrade in the back line should provide you with enough cash. I'd probably drop Watson for GAJ/Swan. Your other premos are good, as is the selection of Ball, but I think Embley provides better value as a cash cow. Generally I don't like picking high draft picks in my team. They are expensive, and are no guarantee of getting points, or even playing games. The only exception in this draft I can see is Ollie Wines. Crouch and O'Meara are good picks, as is Viney. However, as a Swans fan, I don't see Mitchell breaking into the side, as he has had injury problems the past year. Check some of the other teams on the Rate my DT section for alternatives. 7.5/10

Rucks: I like the Maric pick, but he is veeeery expensive, beware! Your other picks are good :) 8.5/10

Fwds: Franklin, tick (even though I don't like the guy and if you take his 200 out of his scores, he averaged less than Pav in 2012) Rocky, tick. Tex and Wright, hmmmm... maybe tick (take tbag's advice with a grain of salt!  ;D) Knights, tick. Daniher is fairly unique amongst this forum, but should play games, which is all you really want. Lee, tick. O'Brien I haven't really heard of, if he's named rnd 1, then by all means go for it, but if not, try to look at someone like Macaffer. 8.5/10

Overall: A good unique team, perhaps a little bit toooooo unique. Good luck! 8/10

A much better effort.  ;)

But I'd get Pendles over Beams, as he is cheaper and is probably more value as he can average more than he is priced at. I'd prefer the other Adelaide boy in Wright, but Tex could be a very unique option that could potentially work....But D-Mart is very tempting also.  :-\

Likes
Heath Shaw- if he can get back to his 2011 form could be a great POD
Strong midfield
Structure
Taylor Walker

Dislikes
Being a sheep and going SwAblett (dw about it ;))
Franklin- SJ is a much better option, Buddy will average ~97 while SJ should go 102+, perhaps even up to 105 while I can't see Buddy hitting 100 without a few bags of 8+.
I'd prefer Redden and Murphy over Dangerfield but no biggie, compare their pre-season form.

Reccomended alterations
Buddy -> Stevie J
Macaffer -> Menzel
if you can afford it, Staker -> Mayes

Backs: 7.75/10
Mids: 9/10
Rucks: 8/10
Forwards: 8.35/10
Overall: 8.4/10 a nice side
