I like the strategy of 3 premo def.
Perhaps as Windi suggests cement the best defenders & Gibbs will be in the top 2.
I like Hanley as d3,will be a good pod.

Yeah a dilemna as I just don't rate him as I probably should Windigo. Shaw and Goddard are locks, and I figure Hanley has an upside. Am actually keen a starting a 3 premo defense structure this year and loading up on a few mid pricers. Will watch Hanley as he will be the one turning into Gibbs when pre season form starts to show itself.

Gibbs averaged a respectable 91 a game which puts him in the top 4 among the backline. 1st on overall points.

Above Waters, Birchall ect.

With the potential to average over 100+ he surely must be a  lock?  :o

3 premium defenders is the way to go IMO, so why not get the best two and then go for a POD with the third.

Yeah,Malthouse has said Gibbsy will play midfield and this lad is a gun so imo his ave will increase to 100+.

Dislikes: Being a SwAblett sheep :P (not that serious)
Buddy: won't average 100, SJ will. 102-105 > 96-99. The choice is easy.

Suggested Alterations
Buddy -> Stevie J
Macaffer -> Mayes, can't see Macaffer playing 5 games, reckon Mayes will play 15+. Worth it for just 20k more.
