Not if they bring in a rolling lockout  ;D  ;D sorry  :(

Im done now i think  :)

I'd hate to see you walk away from Fantasy entirely FF that would be loss for us and the site.
This is what else showers me about rolling lockouts, good people lost from the game.

I'd be in aswell Grazz.

No worries mate.
Just for histrionics Champs II was originally a DT league that did well consistently and out of the 4 FF Champs leagues we competed with we took it out 3 years on the trot. Some may remember this. ;)
I do ... it was one of the main drivers having that healthy additional competition ...  ;)

yep, in for RDT too though I think that's my weakest of the 3 comps ...  :-X   :P    ;)

Thought a few would remember it as it was only a year or two ago it finished, was a healthy battle between us and some good banter went back and forth between us and Champs 1. FF Champs II was the first league I was ever invited into as a new member of FanFooty back in 2010. 2011 the original starter (Mish I think) went missing and left the league in limbo and I didn't want to see it disappear so I took it over and it's slowly morphed into the league we have now. Its had a few good results overall finished in the top 100 and a top 20+ if memory serves me well but this year is by far the best of it's results.

That's ok mate im sure your game is strong enough to keep us competitive. We'll grow into it anyway. Ive learnt over the journey that you need to back your league members in and maintain the faith about the reasons you asked them in originally. Those ive not asked back and theres been a few have either let their team become a ghost, not gone the full distance as these are non negotiables as you don't just cost me but you cost other people a chance at something good and that's not on. We all slip and have poor years at some point. Dudge has always been the first asked into everything I create not just because he's like a brother but he's a competitive beast who demands alot from himself and beats himself up pretty bad when he doesn't deliver like he feels he should, that's gold for leagues, you can't buy that. Fantasy means to much to us haha we are the first to admit that. You feel  great when you do well but you feel showerhouse when you don't and the pressure becomes pretty intense to turn it around, some will get a giggle out that, hell we laugh at ourselves because of it but it's the truth it does mean alot to us.
Suns it up perfectly mate.
Cant wait for the day when I win something aswell ;)

Fair call FF , I respect your thoughts.
I am married with 4 girls under 15 , very busy house and life.
This is more than a game to me , it's my outlet.
Meeting lots of amazing people along the way.
Hope you stick with buddy.

Ill still be around mate, just don't want to mess up quality leagues.

I wondered why there were no games round 23 with supercoach  ;D and wondered why it said rolling lokout here and there  ;D

I pay bugger all attention to supercoach, but always play, not next year tho, rolling lockout for the whole year  wtf  :o

I wont be competitive Grazz because i will get what my captain scores 100% of the time because i don't agree with the loophole never have, and i wont be around to change players from bench to the ground when there are late outs etc if there's a rolling lockout. I will be far from competitive ill be miles behind the rest, and that will be too much of a disadvantage when coming up against 16 people in a league who wont leave their computer/phone for 1 second.

I wont have my life ruled by Fantasy sites ..

Like i say ill still play ..cant stop now.. but for me it will never be the same especially not being in competitive leagues.

Agree with FF here 100% I'm afraid to say. I work a lot of Saturdays, and got my lads soccer on Sundays. If the other 2 fantasy games go to rolling lockout, i'll be mighty pi$$ed.

When I look at my rankings over the years, I do fairly well in RDT and AF, but since the rolling lockout struggle at S/C. ( B4 the lockout came in, I ranked 116 once in S/C )

B4, people start about smart phones, 1 am mentally retarded with technology :-[, and would still need to check regulary on weekends, which is not possible with my job, and not interrupting conversations with friends, brother, nephews other parents and players, to check for late outs etc. on Sundays

As it stands, I will do RDT with this group.

nas

Rolling Lockout if At home use it, if at work can use it night time & maybe very early morning. Either way, to play with this bunch of coaches & doing the best we can is all that matters.

Great year my Power mate ;) lol.
Seriously great work mate , it was a pleasure to see you give me a bath every time we played each other.
My Fantasy league area reminds me of all the leagues we were in together.
It says League winner Dudge in everyone of them  ;D

True about playing with this group nas, but if it disadvantages some, for one is we won't be as competitive, and 2, it just takes the level playing field away

That's just my opinion, some may, or probably do disagree

That's it in a nutshell mate, we do the best we can.
Would never expect anyone to give up a normal life just to give us a better shot at doing well, wouldn't be right to ask that of anyone. Family and life should always be everyones priority after all it is just a game in the end.

He's been taking a beating at them to GM, lately just quietly :D

upthemaidens

I don't like the rolling lock out for the same reasons as mentioned,  but also I don't want all the comps to be the same.
Having three versions of the same fantasy Comp is silly to me.

Some people like lots of trades, some like restricted trades. Some like the SC scoring some like DT. Some like rolling lock outs, some don't.

Personally I would like 20 Trades with the ability to purchase more for lets say $100K a piece unlimited.  No rolling lock outs.
That would add some more levels of strategy to the game.  :)
