If they introduce rolling lockout .. it will ruin my life  ;D

Im not on a computer all day everyday like other people so basically the people who spend 90% of their lives online will be the winners.

Would really like to see it scrapped, huge disadvantage to alot of people who work shift work, work weekends, have kids in sport etc
but the reality is there's no chance of it happening because the amount of traffic it creates through the site over the weekend and that means more money and money will always win out every flowering time.

I have to say even though I have all those reservations Grazz, it was really useful for SC while the sub rule has been in vogue - with this gone next season I still think I want the rolling lock-out for the VC/C and 'emergency' loophole action?!?!  :-\   ;)

Yeah that's flowered up .. I wont be embarrassing myself playing if theres a rolling lockout, ill end up miles behind and all the people with plenty of time to do nothing will rank highly.

I didn't realise there was one in Supercoach this year  ;D  no wonder I was 20,000 places off what I normally finish  :o





Oh and don't get me started on the loophole showere .. had big argument with Warnie couple of years back on DT Talk ....  ;D

I can't see the loop hole causing any issues.
FF , you killed Fantasy this year and with the sub rule gone it will be fine.
I haven't used my computer for any Fantasy football for 2 years now. All on my phone using the apps with chrome browser works a treat.
Rolling lockout will predominantly be used for captain loopholes.
This is great for everyone because in most cases will give you 2 bites of the Apple.
It definitely won't be any advantage to the computer wizards.
Stick with it mate , we need you to kill it back to back.  :)

Reason i don't like Loophole ...

Every year i play in a league with mates (not FF people) they don't have time to spend looking at phones computers etc they have children, jobs, lives. If i use the captain loophole and beat a mate with no idea about this sort of thing it doesn't give me a good feeling.What i said to Warnie was i felt dishonest by using the loophole .. he then went on to say that i was calling Roy/Calvin ? a cheat which was not the case.

What happens if you lose to someone cos they could get to a computer and you couldn't .. sounds pretty flowered to me.

I rarely use my phone apart from texting .. i will not be anywhere near as good if they have a rolling lockout. I will play but i wont be joining any leagues as i don't want to be the one that kills them.

Not having the Sub rule next year might make them change their mind about rolling lockout hopefully.

Just for histrionics Champs II was originally a DT league that did well consistently and out of the 4 FF Champs leagues we competed with we took it out 3 years on the trot. Some may remember this. ;)

I do ... it was one of the main drivers having that healthy additional competition ...  ;)

yep, in for RDT too though I think that's my weakest of the 3 comps ...  :-X   :P    ;)

Thought a few would remember it as it was only a year or two ago it finished, was a healthy battle between us and some good banter went back and forth between us and Champs 1. FF Champs II was the first league I was ever invited into as a new member of FanFooty back in 2010. 2011 the original starter (Mish I think) went missing and left the league in limbo and I didn't want to see it disappear so I took it over and it's slowly morphed into the league we have now. Its had a few good results overall finished in the top 100 and a top 20+ if memory serves me well but this year is by far the best of it's results.

That's ok mate im sure your game is strong enough to keep us competitive. We'll grow into it anyway. Ive learnt over the journey that you need to back your league members in and maintain the faith about the reasons you asked them in originally. Those ive not asked back and theres been a few have either let their team become a ghost, not gone the full distance as these are non negotiables as you don't just cost me but you cost other people a chance at something good and that's not on. We all slip and have poor years at some point. Dudge has always been the first asked into everything I create not just because he's like a brother but he's a competitive beast who demands alot from himself and beats himself up pretty bad when he doesn't deliver like he feels he should, that's gold for leagues, you can't buy that. Fantasy means to much to us haha we are the first to admit that. You feel  great when you do well but you feel showerhouse when you don't and the pressure becomes pretty intense to turn it around, some will get a giggle out that, hell we laugh at ourselves because of it but it's the truth it does mean alot to us.

Don't stress about it mate, Dudge is pretty much in the same boat and I don't expect anyone to be tied to their computer and give up a normal life, like I said im dead set against it to even though if im home I will make adjustments if I see them in time.
You do very well regardless FF and im not bothered about it mate.

I am married with 4 girls under 15 , very busy house and life.
This is more than a game to me , it's my outlet.
