QuoteHunt is hoping to test his tagging skills by taking on superstar teammate Gary Ablett at training in the lead-up to the home and away season.

"Gazza has been on the sidelines a bit of late and I haven't been able to mark-up on him, but I'm sure he'll teach me a few lessons once he's ready to go," he said.

Just putting this out there... Anybody know what's up with Ablett?

Mr.Craig

There was some type of niggle last month. I'll try to find a source.

Mr.Craig

No luck. IIRC it was just some hamstring tightness and they were managing it.

Grazz

He is such a highly valued and skilled member of the team that there is no need for him to train   ;)

Great points! Could it be a repeat of his first year at Gold Coast where he started slowly before coming good..?

Jukes

This may or may not mean anything, hard to tell at this stage until we get a statement from either GC or GAJ himself.

Won't be starting with him either way.

Mr.Craig

Yeah sorry, it was his back...

"Skipper Gary Ablett had a minor back issue in early December but is fully recovered and back in full training."

I'm sure they'll be protecting their most valuable asset. No point in making the little master jump through hoops.

Hmm I like Gary, but for the best of my team.... Hmmm

Full fitness by now easily.
Best player in the comp by far.
Easy draw (apart from Clint Jones in the first round who can be inconsistent anyway)
Perma-captain
Stop the fear campaign.
LOCK.

I would've said the same thing, until reading the K-Hunt quote. Or would he be referring to 36 days ago in an article posted yesterday..?
