Nice team TB.
Similar to you my only concern is the ruck. If you swapped J Russell for Cam O'Shea (could play wing for Port) and traded Goldy out you would have $595,400 to play with. It wouldn't take too much of a tweak then to get the $11,500 necessary for Maric. Not liking the Goldy/Leuey combo at all. Have gone Ryder/Kreuzer with Rowe and Daw, and Cox up forward.
Love the forward line. Cheers and all the best.

T Dog

love that forward line TB even if Cloke isn't in it. You have as many crows as I have pies. If really stuck about ruck selection just downgrade Stevens to a named rookie and use that cash. Have you had a rethink on Crouch getting a game in the crows mids?

tbagrocks

Thanks guys, not overly sure what to do, Stevens being 20-21 having played before looks to be a great pick as he'd be far more ready to go than new mids, but he would be the one to move to get a better Ruck

Crouch is as much chance as any other rookie of game time, basically a lock

Nice team here Tbag -

Def: You would have seen my comments to see whether Goddard effects Heppell.  Just a slight concern after last weekend but watch NAB cup to see before making final decision. You would know a lot about Brown but still not convinced.  Do you think he will play a lot more with the injury to Brodie Smith or will Tambling get more opportunities,
Mids: Solid - Sloane is worth the POD 4th year player and if he continues to improve as in previous seasons should average 115/120. Just a little concern with fitness as last year scored over 100 only once in last 6 games.
Rucks; Concern with all coaches who have the Goldy/Berger combo.
Fwds: Very solid here - Would possibly downgrade one of Wright/Martin to JJ Kennedy, Varcoe, Byrnes or Pettard to upgarde Goldy if needed.

Hint for you I have bookmarked my team thread so it is easy to find among the threads with so many request in RMT.

Hey,

Overall pretty sound.

Def - Is Brown injured? Or am I confusing him with someone else?
3 round 13 premiums - but you probably know that.

Mids - love them. Stevens - $ - is he worth the extra?

Rucks - cheap Goldberger not for me.

Fwds - no Martin for me but good.

Good luck.

Cheers Doc, Luke Brown the young crows back pocket only $135k

Want to see Stevens the next two weeks but he isn't named tonight so ???

Millhouse

I wouldn't be too worried about naming too many crows players; kerridge and crouch are two popular rookies, wright and sloane may be good picks. Unsure about Brown; Pittard may be good (I'm a power supporter, so nerrrr)

apart from that, we have very similar forwardlines, I'm worried about rucks though - I think good set and forget rucks are pivotal

tbagrocks

Call me crazy (because I am) but Ablett is gone, had to to bring in the Dangerman, wanted to get Zorko but don't want to leave out Walker to do so :-\  Any thoughts on a unique team?

Ringo

Bit unique without GAJ and Buddy.

First issue I see is that you have 8 prem players with the Round 13 bye so you may struggle in Round 13 for a competitive score as you will be playing mostly rookies.

Def: No issues here Hartlett will be sound if he can stay on the park for full season.
Mids: Adelaide bias showing with Sloan and Danger, Sloan the riskier of the 2.
Rucks - Would prefer Cox forward in place of Wright or Dustbin and Ruck you can afford selected.  With cash should be able to get McEvoy, Roughead, Jacobs or Ryder,
Fwds: Bit Risky with both Wright and Martin so act as above. Whilst Monfries is unique doubt that he will rise much in price for upgrade and will not be a keeper so look at downgrading to the number of cheaper placed forward between $220k and $300k .

Your team and go with gut,

tbagrocks

Thanks as always Ringo ;D Danger just has to be there, absolute star, but Sloane to go well over 110 too so makes a problem :-\

Idea with rucks is to move Cox forward and turn someone forward into a NicNat, Maric etc depending on who is gunning it

Monfries looks settled at Port and will be one of their best players ;)  If fit :-[  But keep an eye on this ;)

Am happy to risk the young F/M's as we all saw Beams, Danger and Sidebum last year, the only worry for me is leaving out Zorko

R1 is so hard that if I don't start Maric would rarther have Cox and upgrade later when moving Cox forward,

P.s is a Wines and Whitefield worth it at there price? Also "Jimmy the Gun" Toumpas?

ubeaut

WOW Tbag I've just followed ur team through this thread. It seems u have been a little too influenced by others. I too would like 4/5prem mids(maybe 4  plus Fyfe/Mundy) and Moloney(u have Ball). So lets go for it!

I know most rookie cash is in the mids, but 4 rookies is still a fair whack(It's what we're used to anyway). And if the back/fwd rookies have 1 or 2 good cows then it is totally worth having a Moloney/Ball scoring instead of a 40-60 from ur weakest rookie..

Keep GAJ. Keep Ball (I'd rather Moloney) at M6. As a Bomber I wouldn't touch Monfries with a ten foot pole. Rather Varcoe who should score similar but for alot cheaper.

Maybe 1 too many Crows I'd look at Zorko or Bartel over Wright/Walker. Like the Sloane pick.OR put Cox fwd and get Maric/Jacobs or even Griffin/Mumford/Goldy/Bellchambers. No Buddy not anywhere near as bad as no GAJ.

Must addmit i'm commiting a sin in following pre-season form :-\

Wouldn't say i've been totally influenced by others :-\  Have been following the off season and pre-season carefully

Thing about the rucks is, by starting Cox as R1, I can gauge who is better, trade a forward and pick the better ruck option

Thanks for the thoughts ;D

Also call me crazy but I feel the Dangerman has gone to such a level that he can replicate an Ablett in 2013
