Haha, that is uncanny that you have 3 mav players.  :o

Marion is great player for sure.

....Dodgy arse jump shot technique though.  :o

it may be ugly but his FG is above 50% . Doesnt matter how it goes in as long as it does.

if only Kidd was still a Mav I would have their whole team. The guy im hoping to pick at 5 has been/is a Mav player too.

Im not a Mav fan but they have alot of guys who in their prime were guns.

A prime Mavs v a prime Lakers would be amazing.

Windigo

Haha true. But Marion's jump shot isn't one I'd be modelling if I wanted to be a basket baller.  :P

Mavs were a good team in the day.

But R.R, Allen, Peirce, Garnett & Shaq.

Imagine all them coming together in their prime at Boston.  :o

Played against a guy that had a similar shot to Marion's a couple of times, blocked him once. One of the best days of my life.

2004 lakers.

Kobe, Shaq, Karl Malone, Gary Payton

I dont think there would ever be a better team than a prime version of that.

I will take future HOF'er Manu Ginobili.

He is a 3-time NBA Champion and 6th man winner. Was a huge part of the Spurs dynasty - has a great 3pt shot, can handle the ball, deceptively quick and an incredible crafty finisher at the rim.

PG: Billups
SG: Ginobili
SF: Hill
PF:
C: Garnett

Yep. Good pick. Almost took him as my 6th man with my last pick cos I couldn't believe he'd slipped this far. Blake Griffen over Manu an interesting one...

Well I select Elton Brand.

In his prime year he averaged a formidable 24.7 PPG, 10 RPG, 2.6 APP, 1 STP & 2.5 BPG.

That is pretty dominant for a center.

If you look at D12's prime year....            22.9 PPG, 14.1 RPG, 1.4 APG, 1.4 STP & 2.4 BPG

Brand is around Howard's level for sure.

NBA co-Rookie of the Year
2× NBA All-Star
All-NBA Second Team
NBA All-Rookie First Team

This guy will form an incredible duo with Amare at the PF.  8)

PG: Steve Nash
SG:
SF: Paul Peirce
PF: Amare Stoudemire
C: Elton Brand

Another guy I considered but took Camby for his superior defence.

Windigo

Camby or Brand. I was gunna get whichever one wasn't picked for C.

I like Brand for offensive glass beastliness.  :P

Brand also offers a bit more versatility in that he can play power forward and centre whereas camby isn't well suited to the 4 but had to stick with that defence.

Windigo

Haha, it depends what Brand of basketball you like.  :P

That's true, Camby was one of my favourite players to watch in 2007 and someone I tried to base my own game on so there's a certain amount of sentiment there.

Windigo

Haha, that's fair enough.  8)

I'd like to say I based 'my game' around Kobe....But yeah, I'm shower.  :P
