Looking for 8 guys to draft teams of currently active players (on NBA rosters) for a one off finals series, by prime i mean the peak of that players game, a currently active player example would be Jerry Stackhouse, in his prime was a star, right now he rides the bench for the Brooklyn Nets and plays very rarely, that does not count, Just His Prime.
I am going to participate as well as run it, but the judging will be done via a polls on basketballforum.com in a head to head playoff bracket to determine the winner example:

Team 1 Vs Team 8
Team 2 Vs Team 7
Team 3 Vs Team 6
Team 4 Vs Team 5

Team ? Vs Team ?
Team ? Vs Team ?

Team? Vs Team? = Champion

Each 7 game playoff series will be a poll of its own for the users of basketballforum.com on to determine who advances, each poll will run for two days from the time it is posted.

Rules:
PM the next selector after u have picked...
Player MUST be on a current NBA roster

Looking like it's gonna be the same group as the other draft.

Sure looks like it.  ;D

Yeah alright, I'll be in. Probably shouldn't with school starting in a week but hopefully the bulk of the drafting will be done by then :)

Just selecting a starting 5? Or 10 man squad?

gossiboy

Wish Scalabrine was still around. Unstoppable in his prime.

Also, is it only players that are past their prime (eg: stackhouse) or can it be young players who haven't reached their prime yet? (Eg: durant)?

My Chumps

Pretty sure it'd be you'd have to take Durants best season so far and we'd judge him on that, not on his potential improvement.
