Seoul Magpies (+other) voting results....

Just a thread to post results as they are known....

For the question of whether NigeS should be co-coach or not, 10 of the 11 coaches so far have voted yes. Welcome aboard NigeS, you are now an official World XVs coach with all the responsibilities that comes with it :) Up to you and MajorLazer to work out who decides what.

The other results aren't known yet. Waiting on c4, HP, meow, My Chumps, pothead and pyro/sid.

It's a great honour to be recognised as a co-coach and it obviously wouldn't have been possible if the others had not voted in favour of this. I look forward to the challenge and responsibilities that come with the job. Go Cairo and bring on 2013! 8)

Looks like people have approved in principle Question 4 which was:

Last year when a coach was late submitting a team, it was assumed the team from the previous round was the team. I want to change that to this:

- The team is selected based on preferences of players (they have already been submitted)
- The coach is penalised 1 premiership point (you get 4 points per win).

But there was strong opinion on it either way. Some saying it was too harsh, and some saying it was too lenient.

So I think will adjust it to this:

The first week you miss, no premiership points penalty.

The second week you miss, 1 premiership point penalty.

The third week you miss, 2 premiership point penalty.

The fourth week, 3 points, and SACKING.

Also missing 2 weeks in a row will still be seen as a sacking offense also....

As Holz pointed out, this could lead to people to rigging the ladder (deliberately losing points to go down the ladder). The draft order will be based on the ladder PRE penalty. So if you finish last on the ladder because you've been penalised points, but actually have more wins and/or better percentage than other teams, you won't get #1 pick.

Question 3 has not been resolved yet.

Yup, everybody will have a chance to change the order ONCE before the season starts. Recommend after trading period....

Ossie I prob dont want to see them but curiosity is getting the better of me is it possible to see the voting results not who people voted for just the amount of votes we got? If not was it close?

Still a few coaches to come, but I'll say it really was a two horse race between killbluff and JB/KK.

I'd rank it as

1. JB/KK
2. KB
3. Jayman
4. Toga

But every coach was given a #1 vote at least once.

Congrats JBs and KK. Bad luck to those who missed out!

Was really happy with this result. Rate highly all the coaches in the running but these blokes really stepped up in absence and deserved a crack! Will be the Magies biggest fan this season! :)
