Hi mate, here's what I think re: your team:

DEF: B. Goodes rookie listed (can't play) otherwise fine
MID: Dwyer rookie listed (can't play), Aylett interesting pick.
RUCK: You're leaving yourself open to a donut by not having a sure fire backup for injury (ie DPP ruck to FWD)
FWD: Refer above re: DPP to RUCK.

Good solid start though mate, 7/10.

Ringo

Solid team

No comment on rookies as we will not know who are playing and form until NAB cup.  Some have to be promoted to Senior lists as well. Structure is sound.

Def: Neman interesting POD here,
Mids: Would look at getting Fyfe, Mundy, or Ball as your 5th Mid with cash.  Most teams will have 5 prems in this line.
Rucks: If not utilising the DPP then need to ensure your rookie rucks will play when finalising team.
Fwds: Solid but maybe look at seeing if you can get Cox, Ryder or Roughead in with a DPP to rucks. These players were in the top 6 forwards for last year so you would lose nothing.  Even if it means dropping Buddy down to one of them.  Buddy has a horror draw to start so may be an option to bring in later.

Rate team 7/10 but solid base to improve with tweaking.

Laughed when I read this, Goodes and Dwyer CAN Play just because they are rookie listed it doesnt mean they cant.
Also Membrey isnt rookie listed he is on the senior list..

My bad re: Membrey, he is senior listed.

In regards to rookie listed players, they can't play. Simple as that.

As I understand it clubs can have a max 40 senior listed players in 2013, and that being the case can only have 4 rookie listed players.

If the club has less than 40 senior listed players (ie 38) they could then have more rookie listed players (ie 6).

Irrespective of this, rookie listed players CAN'T play, unless they are levated to the senior list.

If a senior-listed player is moved onto the long-term injury list, a rookie-listed player can be temporarily elevated in his place, becoming eligible for senior selection, while the senior player remains injured.

B. Goodes & Dwyer CAN'T play home & away games. They can play NAB Cup, but that doesn't mean sh1t if they don't get elevated afterwards.

Laugh it up Fuzzball  ;)

You're on an open forum champ, have you never done this before? Besides, the debate was about players in your team and whether or not the will actually be able to play, thus worth a spot in your supercoach team. Friendly advice: if you complain about the feedback you get, you'll find you stop getting it...  ;)

Fair comments by all.  But just a comment from me , I am not commenting on rookie selections as all coaches will be making decisions based on NAB cup form, elevation to Senior list and being named in Round 1.  (I can virtually guarantee Ricks team will not have all these rookies for round 1 just the same as rookies in my current team will change).
Think majority of coaches know this but if I see teams with rookies named after final list lodgements will point out. There are quite a number of actual rookies being named in teams that I have seen that will require elevation but remember quite a few clubs have senior spots available.
So to sum up this is why my comments at this stage of the season do not refer to rookies except the ruck dpp issue.

There is more to it than that.

Collingwood can upgrade one player to it's senior list at any time, regardless of an LTI or not. Dwyer will be that player and he is a good chance to play early games.
