Yeah to be honest, I don't think the Crows will make the 8. My prediction is 12th, I actually believe GC will finish higher.

You can't judge a team by their top 12 players.

Crows don't bat too deep.

Bottom 6 wouldn't get a game for Mt Eliza Redlegs.

I think the Crows are building a good young list. Last years and this years draft, has certainly slowed things down a bit, but I reckon they will push for a top 8 birth. The Doc makes a great point though, you need to bat down a fair way though, and maybe a few more top draft picks in the next couple of years will help. Could probably say the same thing about my my mob. The really strong teams do have plenty of deapth

Then Crows / Eagles / Gold Coast / Lions

That's 13.

Then Bulldogs / Demons / Saints / Giants -> nah - that's 17.

Crows will need a friendly fixture I reckon.
