Pity we play you early Tabs - Round 6 - Would have liked to play you after the byes where we may have had a chance.

Think we started to show signs last year of regaining our Gabba fortress and think this will strengthen this year.  If we are no worse than 4/4 (hoping for 5/3) after round 8 the 2 blockbusters following one another Carlton and Pies will be huge and atmosphere great especially Pies.

Not trolling. Other than Beams, I can't see where any improvement will come from. Your rucks are shaky as. Brown, Black, McGrath are old men and will drop off. Moloney is a MELBOURNE REJECT. That's how bad he is. Stefan is a spud. Mayes will be decent, but not in 2013. Poor recruiting. 16 teams have improved, one has gone backwards and the Lions are standing still.

When you get pumped in round 1 you will have to rethink your predictions.

Yep. They lost a genuine matchwinner in Goddard, gained a couple of good young players that will have zero impact in 2013. Tom Lee is decent enough but unproven at AFL level. Hickey is C-grade. Hayes, NDS, Montagna, NROO, Kozi, Tipwat aren't getting any younger.

The Crows went backwards too with the loss of Kurt and Knights and the retirement of Doughty. Crouch will be okay but he is the only addition to their list.

wait we went 10-12 not 12-10. maybe not so good

Vinny

I'll do this later but I just like to say I am praying for a Rich breakout and breaking of the tag. How close is he?

Ringo

I am hoping this will be his year too Vinny. He is training very well and and leading the team attacking drills.  This may be an attempt to try and break him of tag.  Personally I prefer him attacking off the half back line as ye can use his left boot and drift forward as well. Has built up his endurance as well so maybe he can burn his tagger off as well.
