are in disarray........

have only won 3 tests or more in a calendar year once since 2008 and the last time they won more than half of the games in a calendar year was in 1998

twice last year they were thrashed by an innings, in a season they didn't win a series

they have already lost one game this year by an innings and are in real danger of making it back to back innings losses

anyone reckon they can get competitive again anytime soon and should they lose their test status?

Capper

I didnt realise until the other day that Ross Taylor didnt want to go to SA after New Zealand Cricket gave him duel captaincy with McCullen.

I think that New Zealand cricket would be a bit better if they actually had their best players in the game. Ross Taylor, Jesse Ryder and Daniel Vettori all need to be in their test team for them to be competitive. At the moment they are no better, and if anything worse than Bangladesh.

Williamson and run-outs inspire NZ to series win

After winning the first game by a wicket, New Zealand have claimed the best 3 series by beating SA by 27 runs in game 2.

Taylor and Ronchi included for England warm-ups

QuoteRoss Taylor has been named in a New Zealand XI squad to face England in two Twenty20 warm-up matches early next month at the start of their tour. Luke Ronchi, the former Australia and Western Australia wicketkeeper who is now qualified for New Zealand, is also included.

Can't believe New Zealand beat South Africa in a ODI series :o

Taylor and Ronchi are good inclusions for them. I still think they need Jesse Ryder as well though.

Also, does anyone know what has happened to Daniel Vettori? I haven't seen him play for quite a while now.
