I think it highly possible that L McBean R/F could be the highest picked non-playing rookie this season.  Have him in already and as stated gives that flexibility between ruck and forward thus saving on trades over niggling injuries or " the general"  Cheers.

I will have a ruckmen probably Cox in the Fwd line but i want all emergencies playing earning dollars now. If a ruck goes down i'll sell a rookie ruck and move Cox into the ruck and replace him with another Fwd, if its a LTI i'll just out that ruckmen and swap them with Cox and buy another Fwd. Just hope with this idea nobody goes down to early out of Maric and Luey. Luey would be the obvious concern. Im hoping to trade Luey to Nic Nat and pick up a Rck/Fwd link later on when Nic Nat is back to full fitness but with unlimited trades the 2 top ruckmen wether they have dpp or not might be the g, still thinking this over.. Those that are in the top 6 Fwd's will have a position in my forwards so feel safe enough without having a non playing DPP Ruck/Fwd.

Edit: Sandi and Luey combo now with Cox fwd. Needed the cash and Sandi should go well with his pre season and a better fit for the byes.

Sounds ok Grazz, but we're gonna need the Nab to indicate whether any rookie rucks are likely to be playing. Was toying with the idea of playing Peddersen down back, and then moving him to the ruck bench when my backline was full. Cheers.

This is true and unless some gems come up they arent the greatest of scorers early days traditionally, hopefully NAB unveils a couple, thats not to much to ask haha. :P

Nic Natty has to be the biggest upgrade target for the year! I'm confident the unlucky Sam Rowe will get a go

I'm a Tiger supporter, but you don't have to barrack for Carlton to wish Sam Rowe well. It would be fantastic to see him find some success. Here's hoping !!!

Cox, Nait, Sandy - Consistent mobile ruckmen who play in the center and get lots of the ball.

One side of the coin - Sure beats an up and down key forward (barring a couple)

On the other side - That key forward might be better than Berger.

 ;)
In current side have Sandi/ Leuey  RES  Rowe+ Currie
Up forward  Cox and Ryder and will be wanting Nicnat and possibly J Roughead later on. Don't believe Leuey will be a keeper this year. Cheers.

No problem at all - you go 6++ if you wanted.
I wouldn't get caught up on their position status - just look at how many of this year's R/F scored favourably vs the 'normal' F.
Possible to see 'specialist' R (Goldy/HMac/Mummy/Maric/Sandi) etc in many sides come season's end, with a FWD line including both WCE, RoughRyder etc.

Sabretooth Tigers

Yeah Muff I reckon you pick the players who you think will score the most points and just fit them in anywhere you can. Cheers for that.

shaker

No problem with that as long as they average good scores who cares if they are FWD or FWD/RUCK go for it.

Sabretooth Tigers

Spot on Shaker. A team may look absolute crap as far as the different lines are constructed but the only things that count are points scored. Cheers.
