DEF: B. Goddard, B. Gibbs, J. Grimes, G. Broughton, B. Goodes, J. Pittard (L. Stevenson, D. Terlich)
MID: G. Ablett jnr, S. Pendlebury, J. Kennedy, T. Cotchin, D. Mundy, K. Stevens, B. Crouch, J. O'Meara (L. Hunter, J. Viney)
RUC: D. Cox, M. Leuenberger (M. Daw, J. Witts)
FWD: L. Franklin, T. Rockliff, S. Johnson, D. Martin, C. Hitchcock, B. Macaffer (B. Staker, T. Lee)

CASH LEFT: $13,000

A few points
- think Mundy can return to the big scores that he ended the year with. also has a handy finals run!
- Stevens could turn into any high priced rookie atm although I like his JS and hopefully scoring potential..
- have Cox but no forward dpp. looking at NicNat when he gets back to peak fitness to be thrust into the fwd line
- Martin bit of a risk but if it comes down to it he will be good bench cover in the mids and fwds through the finals

Hit me with what you got..

Nice team , I would put staker in the back , not sure about mundy if he can score big numbers , if you  can find extra cash to upgrade him to a genuine gun . Then you will have a starting mid with 5 guns !  8/10

Leave Staker where he is, gives you staker/broughton DPP (which I'm sure you knew). I think Franklin is overpriced, especially considering the hawks opening run. he's one of my first upgrade targets, not a starter for me. I think it's a nice team, if it was me I would cut buddy, put Cox in the fwds and replace him with someone else (Goldstein is getting a lot of love but plenty of options), and replace Witts on the ruck bench with Rowe or McBean for R/F DPP with Cox. But also that's become fairly standard of most teams, if you're looking to break the mould then go nuts. Nice mid line up, I have a fifth gun mid instead of Mundy but I'm still strongly considering him in there. Combo of too many freo players and uncertainty holding me back, but it's a good pick. Martin I think is a big risk, though he killed me last year so not a fan. Sooner or later he is going to rip it up, for those brave enough to back him maybe t will be your year. Not for me though!

Yeah already done the Franklin out, Cox in trade to do much the same thing. Put Maric in Ruck..
I had Murphy as my fifth mid for a while.

Don't know if I can do this but which combo would you choose..

Mundy and Maric?
            or
Murphy and Goldstein?

Nice side mate, I really like Stevens, could score really well for an extra 60K than your other draftees etc. On your last question, I'd go Murphy and Goldstein

As for the side, my one concern might be Hitchcock, interesting pick, depending on how much cash you can work around, possibly try and get Trav Varcoe. But yeh nice side

felsty

I see Staker, Macaffer and Hitchcock as value for money in the forward line that has very little quality rookies in it.. Can't wait for the nab cup!

Yeh, the forward line does have the least appealing rookies at this stage.

Good team.. do you not mind about same team players e.g grimes terlich stevens hunter etc..

Doesn't really bother me.. Particularly with the rookies because they aren't finalised. But in the end why should it? It's not like they will directly take points from each other? Eg. Grimes will play midfield, Terlich will play def

If it was me, Murphy and Goldy, but that's because I'm not one to take big risks, if Mundy can return to his high-scoring form he's a cheap prem. Maric probably a safer pick than Goldy but most of the risk is n Mundy I think. Either is likely fine.

The only criticism i can give is Hitchcock in the forwards. As a small forward he doesn't do anything to help him score in supercoach. He rarely has high disposal games, doesn't tackle and also doesn't hit the scoreboard often enough. He is also very injury prone.
I love the pick of Stevenson in your backs and would put him on the field instead of Pittard imao
