I have to recommend that everybody checks out Mr Nobody. Amazing movie and has come from nowhere to be my clear favourite flick of all time. 10/10 greatest thing I've ever seen.

QuoteMr. Nobody is a 2009 science fiction drama film. It was written and directed by Jaco Van Dormael, produced by Philippe Godeau, and starred Jared Leto, Sarah Polley, Diane Kruger, Linh Dan Pham, Rhys Ifans, Natasha Little, Toby Regbo and Juno Temple. The film tells the life story of Nemo Nobody, a 118 year-old man who is the last mortal on Earth after the human race has achieved quasi-immortality. Nemo, memory fading, refers to his three main loves and to his parent's divorce and subsequent hardships endured at three main moments in his life; him at age nine, fifteen and thirty-four. Nemo tells the story including alternate life paths, often changing course with the flick of a decision at each of those ages. The film uses nonlinear narrative and the many-worlds interpretation to tell the story of Nemo's life.

Love Zombieland and Hanna/Seven Psychopaths were awesome! Hanna has a child assassin which was pretty :o to watch some of those scenes. Sevenm Psychopaths was a bit confusing at times, but funny as well :D. Was a nice blend of comedy and storyline.

I had only heard about Silver Linings Playbook until Jennifer Lawrence was on SNL. I just watched it and it was fantastic. Not at all what i expected, not a chick flick, best movie i have seen for a while.

Reminds me a bit of Little Miss Sunshine
Go in thinking one thing, but turns out being completely different in a good way! Watched this and Seven psychopaths on a plane when I was going on holiday.

One film a lot of you may not have seen is the French film The Intouchables. Very moving and funny at the same time. In French though so need subtitles. Still worth watching though :)
yeh my parents recommended that one, i am watching Argo atm
Both are actually on top of my to download list, heard great things about them!

If you guys haven't seen The Prestige, Kick Ass or 500 Days of Summer, I recommend them.
Prestige - The rivalry between two magicians becomes more exacerbated by their attempt to perform the ultimate illusion.
Kick Ass - Dave Lizewski is an unnoticed high school student and comic book fan who one day decides to become a super-hero, even though he has no powers, training or meaningful reason to do so.
500 Days of Summer - An offbeat romantic comedy about a woman who doesn't believe true love exists, and the young man who falls for her.

My Chumps

All three of HP's recommendations are awesome. Get around the Prestige if you're in for an epic.

Christopher Nolan (Batman films) is an amazing director. I recommend "Memento" if you haven't seen it. About a guy with amnesia trying to avenge the murder of his wife.
