LOL no.... so you would buy a console for $200 for 1 $70 dollar game?

good luck with getting 270 hours entertainment with it

I have a sapphire game with 212 hours on it. And multiple with about 100. Its the only console game I play. I assume all other pokemon will be on this console too, so its not just 1 game. I also have the very first brick DS, so I've lasted a long time before having to upgrade consoles.

If I played 27 hours and loved every minute of it, I'm paying $10 an hour for entertainment right? That's just a little cheaper than going to the movies on a regular basis which I never do anyway...

Since when did dollars directly correlate to hours of entertainment?
Also, I've played White2 for close to 300 hours... maybe. I haven't checked. I've certainly got a Leaf Green file with that many hours clocked on it.
Thought I'd have a look to see if I was completely wrong or not. 218 hours on White2. And that game only came out October 11 last year. I didn't get it until after exams (i.e. middle of November) and I haven't played it much recently... I probably clocked up 150 or so hours just over summer!

I can save my Fire Red game, but can't turn the DS off or the game doesn't load. So I have to keep it on, charging, like for the whole run through.  :P I got up to like 850 hours or something before I finished the game.  :o

I could lend you my GBA, but it's screen is so dim it would still be unplayable on the sun...

Nah, it's not the DS/GBA, it's the game itself. It's one of those cheap, dodgy cartridges.

Just quietly, my current forum pic is arguably my favourite to date.  ;D

Here we have Aurorus and Tyrantrum, the evolutions of the fossil Pokemon, Amaura and Tyrunt.

I spend $200 in town on a Saturday night for 6hrs entertainment. Spend money on what brings you enjoyment. YOLO

The pc/mac port will be available very soon after release which lets you do the same thing you'd do on a new ds for infinite times cheaper...would not pay $70 for a rehashed pokemon game with the same characters, plot, symbols, themes and even worse new pokemon/innovation, let alone $270- especially when an extra $29 than that right now can buy you a 250GB 360 with the game of the year GTA V.

tl;dr don't buy anything Nintendo just port it to your computer

Cicjose

there is more than just pokemon for the 3DS.... shame most people will either not look for the games or wont even notice

I don't have a laptop. The 3DS is portable. How can I go outside and sit in the sun etc chilling with a desktop computer :O

But that is a very good idea for people with laptop, thanks for the info

The final starter evolutions were leaked overnight.

Their names are: Greninja, Delphox and Chesnaught for Froake, Fennekin and Chespin respectively.

Mega Charizard X has been released and is Fire/Dragon.

Swirlix and Spritzee have got evolutions too.

I'll post pics up when good ones are released.
