Ric, nice question! I would be stoked if I could answer it confidently for you haha but I'm still not absolutely sure.

In my opinion Knightsy SHOULD be comfortably on our best 22 playing on the forward flank - last year this position was shared by Addam Maric and Brett O'Hanlon, who I am confident Knights is both better and more damaging than. That booming left foot would add just another touch of class to our half forward line. That being said I am a bit worries about his absence from the NAB cup, it's been unexplained and has been over consecutive weeks, not just a one off. Maybe they're managing him so that we can unleash him in the premiership season but there is a seed of doubt that he might be struggling with an injury or something. But I think it would be more so to do with managing him whilst also giving the young kids a run.

Imo he should have good JS as he is better than our other half fwd options but I would watch closely to see if he is named for this weekend's trial match vs the Doggies - if he's named, that will just about confirm for me that he is just being managed so he's right for round 1 and there's nothing to worry about.
