Varcoe/Byrnes/Karnezis (ranked 1-3)

Mid Under 525k (danger/murphy/rok/kennedy/greene)

Grimes OR Heppell

Thx!
1) Keep an eye on these last NAB games to see how Karnezis and Byrnes go. Byrnes is a proven scorer and Karnezis is looking like he has taken the next step.

2) Marc Murphy easily. Proven premium who has gone 110+ before and was doing similar before his injury last year.

3) Grimes. Destroyed the last part of a season averaging 105. Reports from the Melbourne boys are he is training more with the midfield and will spend more time through the middle.
Agree with most Rico except with' Murph easily'.I think you underestimate the Danger.Imo after this year Pendles and Danger will be on the same level.
Danger to go 115+ ??
Maybe 2014 then :P but he will imo get to that level.
Haha. Yeh the talent is definitely there to do it.

best 102k forward rook???

any?

well, Oxley's at least played a couple of NAB games (FWD/DEF), so he'd be my guess
i'd try and make 7k and bring in Neade personally

POK252

Martin + Bird (looking to trade early to Stevie J around RD 4/5)
or
Blair + Sylvia

-Byrnes (bad in NAB cup), -Cotchin (bad in NAB cup, expensive), -Murphy (tagged out of the game last night but had a reasonable NAB cup before then & should improve on last year).
+Monfries (POD and should score 5-10 higher than Byrnes) +Jack (should score 0-5 less than Cotchin.... but has a fantastic first two games, is Captain) +Selwood (122 points per 100minutes, fantastic form, should improve on last year.... say, 0-3 less than Murphy?)

Ergo, unless Byrnes plays a blinder this w/end:
1.-Byrnes, - Cotchin, - Murphy
2.+Monfries +Jack +Selwood

Leaning towards 2.

Windigo

Monfries would be going into round one underdone I'd think.

I'd still go option 1 with Selwood over Murphy.

Hmm

Monfries underdone should be around Byrnes?

So, I'm guessing you think Cotchin >> Jack?

Crouch + Patton

vs

Whitfield + Ben Kennedy

Option (a).

Whitfield, Cox, and Hartlett vs Lonergan, Ryder, and Grimes?
