My combo question:
Monfries (m5) (under valued)+ Embley (m6) (under valued)
Vs
Whitfield (m6) (no. 1  draft pick, highest scorer in his team this week) and Wright (m5) (undervalued)

Whitfield and Wright. Wright on form right now looks set for maybe a  low 90 odd average. Don't really rate Gus to beat him.  :-\

But I don't think Whitfield is worth the price tag given all the good cheaper options. Lonergan, Wines, Kent, Crouch, Mitchell.

Kane & Wright is much better.  8)

Franklin/Bartel/Zorko/Cox, Tambling (D4), Maccaffer (F6) & Wines (M5) + 31K

Just got to decide how to spend the $70k cash I will then have.

Don't have wright, would have to go -Embley-Monfries to get WRight... which would mean Wright would be in the mid ;)

Wouldn't be such a bad thing to have Wright in mid given I have Robinson, Varcoe and Rockliff in my Fwd line, with no DPP link from Mid to Fwd!

I see a bunch of people saying -Embley, given his hamstring.... but it is a low grade tear and he should be back for R1.

I wouldn't be rushing him out of my side! However, given I can see a +Wright +Mitchell in there, I reckon I may get rid of him (and Monfries).

Say, Macaffer = Pittard.
Say, Cox + Tambling a reasonable bit >Sylvia + Varcoe
Say, Embley* slightly > Wines + $31k

*Note, this re-injured player is coming back from injury and may miss R1.... even if he doesn't, and whilst I am not RUSHING him out my side... it does mean he is probably closer to fairly priced than horrendously underpriced.

So, I'd go the Cox combo. Cox without NicNat = absolute first selection in my team. I like Tambling too, mind you.

This week, Cloke had an entirely shower game, Varcoe was one of the best on ground (named as "1. Best" for his side IIRC).

Murphy should do wonderful - top 10 midfielder, maybe top 8.

Harlett is underpriced if he does not get injured -if he does get injured, just trade him out.

Thus, 1.

I'd still go the GAJ combo. Varcoe will better for the run and J-Lew is a consistent scorer, just not an elite one. Would like a Pitt, GAJ & Hartlett combo though.

I have Option 2 about 7 points over Option 1 atm - but would you consider doing option 2 with Pittard/Vlastuin instead of Tambling? Reckon they won't be too different in average but will save you some money...

Wright. Cloke looked dodgy as, no Dawes to take heat off him now. Just 'maybe' that year where averaged well was just a spike?  :-X Matty Wright hasn't really put a foot wrong in pre-season to date. I wouldn't read too much in that NAB game.

yeah not really fussed on lewis, just trying to fit in hartlett and i just cant seem to do it.

Hm, I'd go with the last option pending more evaluation on Byrnes. I reckon people were too harsh on him in the tri-series.

I don't think ruck benchs are that important this year with all these trades, but it always good to have them playing none-the-less.

Redden to Whitfield could be an option mate.Redden 110 whitfield 80 but $350k will give 30 + points elsewhere imo.
+i know its only Nab but Red hasn't been over convincing. Being Reds no 1 fan probably hard to see this option.lol
