Redden (110) + Sylvia (92) + Varcoe (80) + Russell (82) + Heppell (92) = 456

Moloney (95) + Cloke (98) + Zorko (105) + Tambling (73) + Grimes (99) = 470

Why?

Maric (102) + Wines (72) = 174

Mumford (89) + Embley (84) = 173

Maric & Cox will be the premier ruckmen this year, both will go close to 100ppg. But it will be close either way so doesn't matter too much which one you go with. The first duo is porbably a bit more durable.

Embley + Siposs

Moloney + Varcoe/Byrnes

Wines + Sylvia

Embers 86, Siposs 83
vs
Moloney 89, Varcoe 76
vs
Wines 82, Sylvia 87

Wines and Sylvia ties with Embers and Siposs on points, would prefer the first option however in Wines and Col.

I'd prefer Wines and Trav Cloke tho.

Green zorko toumpas (110k) vs jack Murphy Byrnes

jack murphy byrnes.

jack-awesome start

murph - the only true premo of the bunch in my opinion. should go around 110.

bryens - not that much more than toumpas, and reports are toumpas and wines might only play 10-12 games. Shoule score more too

Greene 100, Zorko 102, Toumpas 75, 110k=21
vs
Jack 99, Murphy 106, Byrnes 73

=277+21 vs 278

Option (b) will score higher, but I'd go (a) with the 110k, assuming you can use at least 5k of it efficiently.

Which one?

moloney and embley with $60,000 left over

or

fyfe and wines with $15,000 left over

Heppell + Fyfe + Byrnes + J. Lonergan

Easily the 2nd option. You gain two guaranteed keepers and two of the best mid cash cows.

You only get one keeper in option one + an expensive stepping stone + a very speculative mid-pricer.

Predicted averages:

90 + 103 + 74 + 70 = 337
vs
95 + 80 + 100 + 67 = 342

Moloney 89, Embers 85, + 8.738
vs
Fyfe 101, Wines 83

=174+8.738 vs 184

I'd defs go the second option then, even with the price advantage calculated in, although I have both the top option players as they're great value and only Wines from (b).

yeah I'd go with (b) because Byrnes is a spud :P
