It is always the ones that dont look like much which do big damage. He knew straight away.

Poor kid. Hopefully it isnt another long term injury

Waiting on the scan results.  Should be in by around 3pm WST (6pm EST).  I will post as soon as I hear

Usual reco hasn't worked will they now try the LARS treatment.
Have to feel sorry for the young fella. Wouldn't wish it upon your worst enemy.

valkorum

Who knows Anchor.  From here I assume they will go and speak to the specialists and get all the facts before deciding on which option to move forward with.

He has to almost retire... What another year out of the game? This is really sad :(

SydneyRox

Dont know about retirement, but will be interesting to see what happens at the end of the year when his contract is up.

Will Freo resign him? Delist and offer to rookie list?

I am hoping that Freo give him another 12 month contract.  Give him a chance to recover and then get back in the game.

thats awkward that his contract is up at the end of the year. This could mean the end but i hope it doesnt

SydneyRox

He is a WA kid, think that will help. Even if he doesnt get a new contract, he could play in the WAFL and spend a year recovering some confidence. The big call will be are Freo willing to risk losing him.

valkorum

It would be quite a risk to de-list and attempt to re-rookie.  The 3 x knee reco's might put off a lot of teams but there could be a team that is prepared to take the risk.
