LOL. 9 commentary team hae been pwned by the 3rd ump there. Hot spot misses the faintst of edges, that is known. It looks like he hit it on slow-mo, hot spot was meh, and the noise was in favour of the fielding side.
Just like it is with LBW, the benefit of the doubt should go to the original umpires call, if there isn't anything on hotspot, the benefit of the doubt must go to the batsmen, absolutely shocking call.

Agree with you here Ant, that was a bad call from the umpire, but apparently he saw something on hot spot that made him think it was out.

I saw something on hotspot, and was yelling at the blind commentators when they couldn't see it. :P

B-Grade Performance from a B-Grade Team

Maxwell is an overrated spud - where the hell is Dan Christian?!
Steve Smith isn't up to it either
Cutting looked OK but probably not one of the first choices yet
Bit hard to judge Khawaja on one game but I'd like to see Ferguson there, he has a proven ODI record
And if Warner plays ODIs not sure if Finch can fit in too

My ideal ODI side

1. Warner
2. Hughes
3. Bailey
4. Ferguson
5. Dave Hussey
6. Christian
7. Haddin
8. Starc
9. McKay
10. Johnson
11. Doherty

What about SHaun Marsh, in massive form

The Australian squad for the third and fourth matches is:

George Bailey
Michael Clarke (Capt)
Xavier Doherty
Moises Henriques
Phillip Hughes
David Hussey
Mitchell Johnson
Glenn Maxwell
Clint McKay
Mitchell Starc
Matthew Wade
David Warner

So
Smith, Khawaja, Finch, Cutting and Haddin out
Clarke, Warner, Wade, Henriques in

I thought that DC would get a go, but Henry is a good choice

BB67th

I would probably rather have Chrstian in the team than Henriques, but I guess we will just have to see how he goes. I think it's a good squad named for this match, and Maxwell should be the one to miss out, he hasn't really done too much to justify his selection yet, and 20 overs of spin is too much to have to bowl against the Sri Lankans. So my XI would be

Warner
Hughes
Clarke
Bailey
Hussey
Wade
Henriques
Johnson
Starc
McKay
Doherty

It still looks a bit of a shaky batting lineup to me without Hussey Snr, but I guess we will have to get used to it.

This is becoming a joke :-X

Probably need to win today, here's a question, why has Pomersbach not been given a go? Dropping Ben Cutting was a mistake,

What we need is selectors to be able to drop the selectors, but they'd probably bring in a selector rotation policy, then we'd need to bring in selectors to select the selectors who select the selectors (head hurting yet) but they'd probably bring in a rotation policy

flower it, just select the best team available each game, is Warner needs a rest then he's unavailable, but other than a weary player, select the best team, quite simple really ::)

Batting Warner at 11 seems alittle extreme.. :P

They are planning for/looking at the big picture.  These ODI's mean nothing(same with the Sri Lankan tests) Its all about the back to back Ashes.. I bet they chill on the rotation policy once the Ashes start.
