Glenn Maxwell is a White Goodman...  not cos he lost the game, but his reactions towards the Sri Lankans was just the sign of a big-headed and immature cricketer and man. To have a crack at the Sri Lankans for that was heat-of-the-moment, and understandable, but if it was Australia bowling that last ball with four to win, we'd have done the exact same thing... And to go on with it after the game, to a player of Jayawardene's calibre and stature, is just arrogant

Fair enough if you see it that way Tom, but Sri Lanka did take something like 33 minutes to bowl the final 5 overs and had about a 3 minute conference before the last ball. In my opinion Maxwell had every right to tell them to hurry up, but then Jayawardene had no right to swear at him and get angry.

I don't like the scenes that occured at the end of the game, not good for cricket and in the end I guess everyone was in the wrong. I think there will be quite a few fines coming out of this match.

Jono Dean looked impressive in the first innings, scoring 51 off just 40 balls including 8 4s and 2 6s. Had a quick look at his record and he hasn't even played a List A or First Class game! Could be one to look out for in the coming years.

Also good to see Faulkner do well with the bat and I think he will be an able replacement for Henriques in the first few ODIs against the Windies.

Jono Dean is from the ACT so plays in the Futures League (like the Sheffield Shield Reserves comp)... first-class scouts will be taking notice; don't be surprised if he at least gets a Big Bash contract for BBL|03

I like Faulkner, good selection (at last)... but why hasn't Dan Christian been called up at all ? I find that bizarre given how many players they have churned through the team

Was there for the first game at Manuka underlights. High scoring game Doolan and Khuwaja didn't do the chances for Inida any harm. Was pretty well gone later in the game and am a bit dusty this morning.

with the Aussies taking on the windies tomorrow foxsports brought out the best 5 moments betweeen the two teams. For me the first game the windies won should have been there when they needed a six to win and they got it.

But Steve Waugh's catch and Bevan's 4 off the last ball is there
