Time for Haddin to start smashing

PowerBug

LOL. 9 commentary team hae been pwned by the 3rd ump there. Hot spot misses the faintst of edges, that is known. It looks like he hit it on slow-mo, hot spot was meh, and the noise was in favour of the fielding side.

The noise was the batsman foot,,,  I cant believe that it could be given out. Aussies should have re-reviewed it and get it over turned again  :)

PowerBug

haha, if only you could re-review. Get the 4th umpire in on it! ;D

Question: Does Matthew Wade come back in for the 3rd ODI on Friday? Haddin has just scored his 50 and has given Australia a chance in this match.

This is also a real problem if you are going to rotate players!

Bill Manspeaker

terrible decision to over turn a not out call when there wasn't conclusive evidence to do so, but other than that the Lankan's bowled really well and completely out-played us.. but we're only half way through. bowl really well here and there's no reason why we can't defend 170

PowerBug

Gotta remember, Sri Lanka won the toss and bowled, so if Australia made a 'good' score as the experts say then they'd probably win easy. ;)

An early wicket makes things interesting.

looks like injury has struck again.. really unlucky for Haddin because he batted nicely and has given the Aussies a chance. so depending on how he pulls up, it looks like Wade in, Haddin out

i flowerin hate these stupid replays of a wicket.

With Haddin's injury does that rule him out of the Indian tour?
Hammy's is a 3-4 weeks sidelined and when do they name the squad? Would they name him if hes injuried?

Nige

Lahiruuuuu!  :-*  8) Well deserved maiden ODI century.

PowerBug

So the B Squad leaves the series at 1-1, and now the rested A team come back to play the final 3 matches. Should be fun. :D

What about Phil Hughes keeping? Didn't really fumble a ball and took a few good deliveries down the leg side. Looks a more than capable backup if he is ever required.

Bad showing by the Aussies today, but with the good players to come back for the next 3 games, it should be a good end to the series. And bad luck to Hads today, he was playing so well and a hamstring injury can be hard to get right quickly, especially at his age.
