looking good mate cant really fault it but instead Priddis how about an up and coming mid that could really break out this season like Greene/Fyfe/Ebert, Priddis is still a good pick though

your forward line is a bit shaky would rather somebody more consistent then Walker if your going to get Ryder for DPP

Ringo

Welcome to FF.  Very nice team first up.

Can not Really fault. Not commenting on rookies as like most will asses in NAB cup and Round 1.
Def: No problems here.
Mids: Just a little concerned with how Murphy will handle a tag - struggled last year when tag applied but with Mick as coach may be overcome.  Priddis is very consistent although last year he dropped off a bit from 2011 average dropped down a little and had 4 scores (excluding injury effected) less than 90 compared with 1 in 2010.  As KB says maybe look at Fyfe and frees up some cash to improve forward line.
Rucks: No issues here
Forwards: 2 areas of concern here - Will Walker maintain his scores with Tippett gone and will Martin finally realise his potential this year if he gets his head in the right space. Maybe look at Riloi, Johnson or Hawkins as an alternative.

You have a number of DPP but no actual links to the mid is that by choice?

Just being a bit picky with opinions but rate this team 9/10.

Congratulations with you ranking over the last 2 years.  If you have a league spot spare consider joining the FF league.  Competition will be great had 2 teams finish in the top 20 last year.

Thanks for the feedback Ringo & KB.
I have been playing around with the team this morning and have come up with the following:-

Wishy Washy Fanplanner squad in the Super Coach competition coached by kelba. Salary cap left: $4,500.

Brendon Goddard, Bryce Gibbs, Pearce Hanley, Danyle Pearce, Jasper Pittard, Brent Staker
Lewis Stevenson, Dean Terlich

Josh P. Kennedy, Patrick Dangerfield, Joel Selwood, Trent Cotchin, Marc Murphy, Oliver Wines, Jesse Lonergan, Brad Crouch
Jaeger O'Meara, Jack Viney

Patrick Ryder, Matthew Leuenberger
Majak Daw, Jarrod Witts

Taylor Walker, Tom Rockliff, Dustin Martin, Greg Broughton, Travis Varcoe, Troy Menzel
Cameron Hitchcock, Josh Simpson

Notes:-

Danyle Pearce has caught my attention of late, has heaps of potential and seemed to be shut down alot by taggers at Port. With a move to the Dockers, I think he could be let loose with more time in the mid and could provide real value for money and a POD. Will watch during the NAB

Broughton in the forward line as I now I have Danyle Pearce as D4. Broughton is a a definite lock, expecting average around 100 mark. DPP link with Staker.

Tex Walker will go BANG in 2013, I already have my money on him to bring home the Coleman.

Varcoe I am hoping gets a role across half back... will watch NAB.

Ryder a bit unique as R1, I think the new ruck rules will really suit him. I don't have a DPP link to forwards as yet however NicNat will be a forward upgrade for me later in the season. I have gone cold on Goldstein... I have based this team on draw to try and get to the front of the "overall" pack, as such, Norths opening few rounds look pretty unappealing.

As stated ealier, I have based this most of this team by the draw... my 5 premo mids do not include Ablett Pendles or Swan... however my predicted averages for the 5 mids I have chosen after round 5 is as follows and I think are mitigates not having Ablett etc. 122, 125, 120, 120 118. Also, with rolling lock-out, a double shot at the captain score will be handy!

Also, I am really struggling at the moment to find any confidence in any of the other forwards really. NAB cup mya provide me with some reassurance.

NoButYeah

If you switch your captain each week then this lineup could work but if you're after a captain to lock in every week I think you may struggle a bit and need one of Ablett, Pendles or Swan. Only other risks I can see would be Pearce and Walker but if they come off then you'll look like a genius.

Congrats on finishing top 100 for the past 2 years, what was your team name last year??

Not a bad team considering you dont have Swans, GAJ, Pendles or Beams
