bews should be getting a couple of games, but isn't a fantasy option. Doesnt even averaged 50 ppg in VFL from memory- he's still very young as well, wont be much older than most draftees this year.

My thoughts too.  Their backline seems pretty set with Rivers coming in.

Thurlow to replace Enright one day? Or is he more a Mackie? It is possable he will play some games, Geelong chasing a premiership again, maybe some old guys don't play every game getting their best players fit for September? Hmac, Enright, Chapman, Bartel and SJ come to mind

Maybe.  With Enright, Mackie, Taylor, Hunt, Lonergan, Guthrie, Murdoch & Rivers in the backline, there seems to be enough depth there to suggest Geelong will continue to rotate & rest as they have the last couple of years.  I agree Thurlow might get a game or two, but I see no immediate need for Geelong to put considerable time into their youngsters while they make a run for another flag.  An injury or two can change that in a second of course.

I think you're right that the cats will give the players you've listed at least a couple of games rest....apart from Enright, he's pretty durable...but then again he is getting long in the tooth, and might need it if he takes on more responsibility with Scarlet gone.
