So this is ultimately my dream starting team. But unfortunately virtual sports won't allow me to have this. So I need k drop someone. My bench is pretty standard with witts daw ect. But I don't really want to drop a rookie because I think they are just as if more important than premos. Anyway any help appreciated.

Just a personal opinion but imo at the moment Ablett and Franklin are overpriced so I would look at getting alternate prems to those 2 teams.  Niether of these 2 are in my planner team at present.

Thanks for the reply but I think with those two you get what you pay for. They have been doing it for seasons and I have learnt that you need to start with them or you fall behind. But yeh maybe I could drop one of them....

kilbluff1985

yeah i'd probably downgrade Ablett to a 600k player of downgrade Franklin to somebody you can afford

but i think Nic Nat is the best option to downgrade really with his injury concerns

Bones Bombers

Downgrade Shuey to a mid rookie, there will be some very good ones.
Might be able to upgrade a forward or back rookie to a midpricer who will play more.

Salary cap issues? Just need to harness the power of the Visy brown paper bag.

really dont want to drop sjuey as i can see him breaking out to elite status next year. but nic nat on the other hand i might not have a choice as it looks as though he might not even play round one. might go nic nat to cyril of stevie or one of the adelaide boys (tex or wrigth) and then will get me under i reckon.

do you reckon you can afford to start without nic nat if he is fit though???

I was one of the first on shuey last year and he let me down at key times with undisciplined behaviour. Very good player, but better value at his price

ringo, ablett and Franklin are first picked. There is a reason for their prices. They are freaks, at the peak of their respective careers. Risk them at your peril. Sometimes things are just obvious.

Even as a relative novice what jumps out is too many mid prems.  Good advice has already been given on who to drop. I worry about your forward line with both Stringer and Lee in your starting 6 and obviously Nic Nac when there are several good F/R ALTERNATIVES eg Roughhead.

A good spot to start would be to swap Shuey for Embley......this alone would put you 150k in the black instead of being 120k in the red.
Which would give a bit of room to improve your forward line too

Thanks for the ideas really appreciate it.  I'm still not sold on embley just yet. I think this year Im going to go a bit unique in the midfield for supercoach. I think I might go shuey to ziebell and tip him for a mad breakout year.
Also the reason I haven't got the top premiums in each position is because the top premiums don't always stay there. This might sound simple but I pick who I think will be at the top by the end of 2013 I don't just pick premiums because of thier high averages. I've also put a high importance on the midfield this year as that's what the winners from past years seem to do. A lot will change before round one but I think I will probably run with a structure similar to this.
