thinking of taking a punt on mundy what do u think he will average?

115
110
105
100
95
90

Adamant

I am still deciding between Mundy and Fyfe for M5, but now im not sure if I'll have room for a mid-pricer in the mids.

Averaged 108 over his last 7 games! and when Fyfe plays he scores 100+ 83% of the time!! seriously considering, currently sitting in my M5 behind Swan, Gablett, Pendles and Redden

Yeah it's Fyfe, Mundy or Bennell for Position M5

100-105 is a fair expectation for him as Adamant stated above, with a good preseason (1st in a long time, he's flying on the track).
I think a healthy Sandilands is as important to his output as a healthy Fyfe also. I hope with all 3 of those issues, preseason , Sandi and Fyfe he will make a bit of cash or even better become a keeper.

Mundy or Fyfe for me also at M5. Mundy killing it in preseason i see as a plus. Fyfe probably has a higher ceiling i see as a plus but comes with greater risk i feel regarding his shoulders. Sandi's fitness i see as almost important as Fyfe's fitness as we all agree Mundy goes better when those two are playing. It's a real posser which way to go and i fear i will be stressing about it right up until Freo's 1st game gets underway.  :-\

Fyfe has more upside right? think you can take a risk with 30 trades

kilbluff1985

voted 100 to be realistic

i like Fyfe better though

Ive actually punted Mundy this arvo mate and went for some better value in Embley and beefed up my Fwd line with the extra cash. I'll sit on this side for awhile and see how i feel in a week or so. I like it at the minute haha but you know how often we mess with them. It may change several more times yet lol. :-\

Will Embley be your M5 Grazz?

Grazz

For a few games he will be but he's only been picked as a cash cow to use in an upgrade for one of the next top four mids. I have Swan Gaz Pendles and Cotchin in the mids to start and think those 4 should be in the top 8 mids or close to it. I think Embley is good value at the price and should generate a bit of cash flow for me fairly quickly for an early upgrade. Fingers crossed mate.

Yeah, I want to start him at M5, but most people are rolling with 5 or 6 premos, so we might be behind the pack. :-\

I've played around with my team quite a bit and it definitely looks much better overall with him sitting there over Mundy/Fyfe.

Yeh i feel the same at the minute, if one of Varcoe or Knights looks dodgey through the Nab Cup i'll probably switch back to Mundy/Fyfe as M5 mate. Hopefully Nab will uncover a few Fwd rookies worth having which will make the change back a little more comfortable.

PowerMan

apparently Mundy has rolled his ankle at training today.

probably not a big thing but for a player just looking like he was overcoming that serious right leg injury in 2011 you dont really want him rolling his right ankle.

If he is out of training for 2 weeks he is out of my squad and in comes cotchin. (will need to find some cash from somewhere).
