but....

fyfe is a better player :P

Mundy i think will be the better fantasy player next year though. thats the point though fyfe is the better player its why mundy socres well with him in the team.

Ziplock

exactly- fyfe isn't dependent on anyone else to be a beast. Mundy and fyfe are equal risks- if anything mundy is  even more risky- he only scores well when fyfe is in the team,l subsequently, if fyfe goes down, so does mundys scoring. So fyfe getting injured effects them both negatively simultaneously- I'd argue it effects mundy worse though- because he isnt injured, you're not going to trade him out, because you'll be convinced that he'll keep pumping out 100+ scores.... which means you're stuck with a 90 mid for the rest of the year, and lost cash because you didnt straight swap him. However, fyfe going down, you trade him straight away when he's still close to peaked, so you get premium scores from another premium, as well as not losing cash and needing to double trade for mundy.

I will trade out mundy to a super premo if fyfe goes down. The risk for fyfe is that he gets injured early in a game and scores like 10 and it kills his average.

both good picks though

if mundys averaging like 110-115, you're going to need huge balls to trade him down.

I will do it, mundy for me is only a viable pick with a fit fyfe, if he is say 110 and he goes down than you can almost straight swap him to a cotchin.

GM

Tbh as good as Fyfe is i cant see him or Mundy cracking the top 8 midfielders and both pose risk from recent injuries.
Im interested to hear your thoughts as i would think a top 8 midfielder would ave 110-115 +.

last year lids was the 8th best with 110, stants 9 and 106.

If mundy can average 105 than your probably only losing 5 points to a top 8 mid. I would never have picked him with 6 mids but i will with 8.

I still dont know who will be the top 8,if mundy can get 105 it would put him as the 13th best mid and thats not too bad for M8.

So will i in a heartbeat, im confident in my ability to do whats needed when its needed and  Holz for that matter. Not sure on the logic that Mundy owners would be worse off with Fyfe injured as Mundys still playing but if his avg slips see ya later David.

Agreed in the sense im not sure either but its possible. Mundy is a stepping stone for me at the minute, i am confident i wont lose money, with 30 trades i'll take that risk.

Cheers guys,so many choice of stratagies lets hope a few at FF get the right one.
To get it right there has to be some risk,at the momment mine are cheaper fwds.

Theres alot of ways to skin a cat mate, no one way is the right way, you only know that in rnd 23 and your rank says 1 then its safe to say i got it right this year. Theres alot of us who can only say "damn i almost got right" haha. Goodluck to us all, we'll need it. ;)

Either is a neccessary risk. In the last few years we've seen the Murphy's and Deledios go from 90s to 110s and we dont want to miss the boat this year. I am loving the rivalry there creating! There even priced and play in the same midfield, hard to seperate. Personally I'm a Fyfe man seeing as Murphy and Deledio came more from his shell then a older Mundy. Fyfe without his 22 averaged 98 and all reports point to that improving. I expect 100-110 next year.

lordy9

just saying mundy avg 122 off his last 3 games and 112 off his last five!!!! GUN!!! ;) 87 for the year so his under priced!!

Holz

Probably 105. Thats what he needs to be your M8. I say this though if Fyfe gets injured i will trade mundy out no matter what he averages.

Football Factory

Has averaged over 90 once in seven years ..but he showed some good form towards the end of 2012 i think he is undervalued and will make some cash for you. Ill say between 100-105

Adamant

I think 100-105ish is realistic for Mundy this year.

He was going at 106 in 2011 before his broken leg, he should be able to replicate those numbers with a full pre-season. Seriously considering him or Fyfe for me M5.
