Some people might not agree with me but I reckon the Australian side and selectors should work on Dave Warner's leg spin. Ever since Warney Aussies love leg spinners. I reckon if we work on his bowling we can use him to take the all rounder position Watson use to fill. I feel Watson can't/shouldn't bowl if he wants to stay in the side. Too much of a workload is killing him
I think his part time bowling could be a great option. Not as good as Watson's thats for sure, but he could bowl like Dilshan does for Sri Lanka I think.

The way I see it right now is that we have 2 Test Quality Batsmen in the side - Clarke and Warner - they are locks

We have Watson who is a great allrounder when fit, but it remains to be seen if he can be a dominant batsman - which I am sure he will be though once he gets some match fitness - so for me Watson is also a lock

Next is Phil Hughes who unarguably has a massive amount of potential - I think he will struggle greatly in India and he definitely isn't strong at facing spin - still I think he will be retained for the Ashes and have a good series - I see him as a maybe at this stage, but is probably the best young talent we've got.

Ed Cowan seems to be a bit of a spud though and doesn't bring too much to the team - his opening role could easily be vacated for Watson who would probably score better at the top of the order - there is a fella called Usman who has been waiting for a while and deserves a chance to come in at 4 ahead of this guy in the team

For the number 6 role I think Henriques has shown he is more than capable to play a fine innings and he looks great against spin. Also provides a solid bowling option who can reverse it.

Wade down to 7 - personally I think Haddin should be playing in India and possibly the Ashes. Haddin is experienced, after Clarke the best player of spin in the country and is a better keeper. Also he is the only domestic batsman in form this summer

For the bowlers I think the attack for the second test needs to be Siddle, Pattinson, Lyon, Doherty I still can't believe Steve O'Keefe isn't there, but I won't go on about him anymore because if I do I will never stop. Still, if Bird is sent back home, maybe Steven goes as his replacement?

So I think the Aussies have a decent top 5 at the moment, we just need to get rid of spud Cowan for Khawaja and give Moises a chance in the top 6.

When you say Haddin is the only domestic batsman in form... There's a guy called Ricky Ponting tearing it in the Shield. Seems to be young bloke. Going at an average of 111 with 3 50's, a century, and a double hundred from 6 matches. Could be a valuable asset going forward...

Well the old selectors saw a lot in Harris, which I think is a good thing, he is a great bowler and should be in our attack when fit.
