G'day KB, just a few adjustments to the earlier team. Thought I'd better make your 150 th reply.
$39,300 sal cap left

DEF   B Goddard   B Gibbs   P Hanley   C O'Shea   L Brown   B Staker                                  RES   D Terlich   D Van Unen

MID   G Ablett   J Kennedy   T Cotchin   T Greene   N Fyfe   B Couch   J 'Omeara   J Viney    RES   K Mitchell   M Jones

RUCK  A Sandilands   D Cox                                                                                           RES   J Witts   S Rowe

FOR   J Ryder   D Zorko   T Rockliff   D Martin   T Varcoe   B Macaffer                                  RES   K Jaksch   T Membrey

Either Ryder or JRough depending on NAB form. Looking to upgrade Nicnat and Franklin at the right time. Can't seem to get on the Goldy and Leuey bandwagon, don't know just what it is but something in my thick skull keeps turning me away at this stage. Will keenly observe them both during the NAB.  Cheers for checking this out for me KB.

well done as usual mate i love all your player choices and the structure i'd give it a 40/40 just monitor everyone in the NAB

though Zorko+Martin is a bit risky having both of them i'd prefer someone like Stevie J over Zorko i think

Sabretooth Tigers

Thanks KB and I like the way you think. Will choose between Rocky and Zorko after the NAB, and then choose the best availlable replacement. Cheers and let's hope we can both grab some of the cash this year, best of luck.

oooh a pretty picture lol

Def, like the structure and the player choices give it 10/10

Mids, i like your player choices but structure is a bit weak many teams will have 5 premos at least and you wil struggle against them i give it 8.5/10

Rucks, cant complain at this stage monitor Sandi's fitness though 10/10

Forwards, clearly your strongest line i don't think you need Cox+Franklin though 9/10

so that's 37.5/40

Suggestions, your player choices are pretty good but i don't like the structure i like seeing 3 premo defenders, 5 premo mids, and 4 premo forwards + Varcoe/Knights as your 5th

so your team i'd go

Goddard, Gibbs, Broughton+Rooks

GAJ, Swan, JPK, Cotchin, Fyfe+Rooks

Sandi+Luey

Cox, Stevie J, Rockliff, Breust, Varcoe+Rooks

looks much more even like that imo

I went the 4 prem defs as I dont really want to be using too many trades there, get the prems i want and just downgrade rookies
Yarran is dependent on how Mick uses him atm, i like him for his $ if Mich uses him in sweeping HB/QB role like H Shaw

My reason for 4 prem mids + Ball was all about cash generation, mid rookies is where its at and if i can make more $$$ from the start i can use the extra $ later on (in theory anyway) thoughts on that???

I went Buddy as he is highest scoring Fwd and someone you want in your side, ppl are raving about his "tough" draw but he is Buddy and will always score ok and saves me burning a trade on after a few rounds
I have had Varcoe in all of my teams just couldn't fit him in this one (Sandi - Goldy and upgrade a Fwd rookie to him could be an option dep on Sandi's fitness)

thanks for the reply and let me know your thoughts on my thoughts  ;D ;D
cheers!

kilbluff1985

yeah but Mids are where your points are scored also you will lose games early on with that midfield

i have nothing against the Yarran pick but i think it's a good idea to get defenders that are inform so by starting with 3  you can get the others when inform starting 4 premo defenders increases the chance that one will have a bad year as defenders are the least reliable scorers not to mention there are about 10 rookie defenders that could get named round 1

last year we had 7 defender starters most started with 4 premos now we need 6 defender starters so it's logical to only start 3 premos

along with that we need 8 starting mids now instead of 6 so i think it's logical to start with 5 premos

Forwards, well there are not many good rookie options so i like seeing Staker in as F6 the rest best 22 players in there respective teams

Team 1 imo simply because i like that structure as i have said in previous reviews, think you need 5 non rookies in your forward line and to do that you can only have 5 premo mids which i think is enough

with the 200k you could maybe get Knights in as F6? Or upgrade Varcoe up to you either option is good

it's good will score well but not a fan of spending so much cash in the mids there will be enough mid rookies to choose and not many forward rookies i'd rather you drop Mundy and get another forward premo

it's not a bad team just not my preferred structure
