if i have to, lol

Def, like your player choices and the structure really like it actually give it 10/10

Mids, it's a little bit weak imo with Fyfe at M4 AND Martin at M5 i'd like to see Martin upgraded a bit and have Fyfe at M5 would be really strong then still give it 8.5/10

Rucks, standard 10/10

Forwards, i really like the structure and your players Roughead is a great POD can fault this line at all 10/10

so that's 38.5/40

if you were to downgrade Swan to someone so you could upgrade Martin to someone better i'd prob give you 40/40 or i'd even prefer Mundy at M5 who is considered underpriced don't have Martin there just for DPP it's not worth it imo get a rookie M/F in there instead if you must

G'day ;)

Def, i like this structure and your player choices but i really do think Gibbs is a must have give this line 9/10

Mids, your player choices are awesome not a huge fan of the structure though i'd prefer to see Ball/Embley at M6 though explain why in suggestions but give this line 9/10

Rucks, not a fan of this combo just think it is a bit risky with both of them would rather see one of them with a safer option give this line 8.5/10

Forwards, like your player choices walker is a great POD but think you need Knights/Varcoe at F5 that's where the money comes in from downgrading Mundy to Ball/Embley give this line 9/10

so that's 36.5/40

the score does seem a bit harsh but if you downgraded Mundy like i said and got in Varcoe/Knights team would look pretty nice and yeah maybe you can do something about the rucks also

hope that helps :)

Def, i like your player choices and i like this structure in defense think it gives you the chance to get in the best performing defenders i give it 10/10

Mids, wow i like this alot great players and structure cant really fault it at this stage very strong 10/10

Rucks, standard 10/10

Forwards, not much wrong withit but don't really like spending 1.8mil on 3 players here think you should downgrade one of Buddy, Cox or Nic Nat not sure if Nic Nat will be 100% for round 1 and Buddy has a really hard start to the season so i'd drop one of them but i give this line 8.5/10

so that's 38.5/40

well done mate one of the nicest teams i have seen i'd try and spread the cash more evenly and get someone like Varcoe/Knights as F5 then it would be really nice

Ah ok so you reckon something like this would be better?

KB, thanks for feedback so far, despite the compliments on the defensive line I've made some big changes, def strength definitely down but bumped up mids and fwds, see what you think:

Def: Goddard, Gibbs, Duffield, Jaksch, Goodes, Pittard, (Terlich, Colquhoun)

Mid: GAJ, Pendles, Jelwood, Cotchin, Murphy, Mayes, Vlastuin, Crouch (O'meara, Viney)

Ruck: Goldy, Berger (Daw, Rowe)

Fwd: Franklin, Cox, Pavlich, Roughead, Staker, Kerridge (Lee, Membrey)

37k remaining.

My justification is that defenders tend to be the lowest scoring line, and I don't think prices will waver too much. I want to get the likes of Shaw and maybe Waters in at some point but I think they can wait (definitely waters!). Usual rookies disclaimer.

would do the usual rating but i don't really like it at all spending to much cash in defense for my liking, Luey + Gorringe is to much of a risk in the rucks, mids are good i guess, forward lines ok but think Knights/Varcoe better options then Bock

would give it about 6/10 right now

Not even worth the usual rating! lolz Not enough cutter used on my cookies perhaps?

I'll see if I can win you back a bit.....

Luey/Gorringe - People freak out as soon as they see a rookie in the rucks but I never saw why it's different from the other part of the field. Gorringe could have better JS than 90% of all rookies and he could score as well as most of them too. I started with Zac Smith's 78 average at R2 in 2011 and a quiet 93 average from Giles last year.

Bock VS Varcoe or Knights - simple stats win this one pretty easily for mine. Here's the three player's career SC averages not including last year or their first two years:

Bock - 86 (91 from 2008 - 2011)
Knights - 77
Varcoe - 74

On top of that Varcoe and Knights have a lot of competition to even be best 22 let alone anything like the midfield time hype that people get sucked into. Bock steps straight back in to be one of the Suns go to players whether he plays forward or back. That is the clincher too - His DPP to switch with Broughton if needed makes him a lock for me provided he gets up for RD1.

I've also upgraded Gaff to Shuey and am considering going Hartlett to Birchall as well.

So what you reckon? 6.5?

and Bock will be 30 and March and not had a good pre season Varcoe is very fit right now and is ready to go same with Knights i think Varcoe is easily in the best 22 Knights not so easily has to show something first and i don't think Bock has 100% JS could get rested a bit

regarding Gorringe i just think him and Luey is to risky maybe like a Maric+Gorringe combo i might accept

even if you upgrade Hartlett to Birchall i still don't like it maybe even more with that as i think your spending to much cash with 5 premos in defense given how many good rookie defenders there are

Ok, I've taken a breath and taken what you've said on board. Here's a rework that's not quite as out there. See what you reckon.

Rucks, McEvoy is a great unique that could work out well for you i cant fault this line give it 10/10

Forwards, really strong line like your player choices but i'd be worried about Rioli wearing a vest think there are better options then him otherwise i like it and give it 9/10

so that's 38/40

just something to consider you could downgrade Rioli to Knights/Varcoe then upgrade Ball would be really really strong then

Thanks pal. Wines definitely on the radar to replace Mayes, just worried about the M/F dpp link leaving but there in my mind. With your comment on the fwds, yeah it's KPP stacked but that doesn't really affect scoring with those guys, Pav, Buddy, Cox all smashed it last year and I don't imagine their roles are going to change dramatically this year... I had daisy in there in place of roughy but given the moonboot, he got the boot ;) I mean who would you swap out/in there?

Enjoy your food first!

hmm i think Stevie J or Rockliff are close to a must haves i also like Martin, Lewis or Robbo i think Buddy might be the one to drop he has a really tough early draw would make him your 1st upgrade target and dropping him would give you extra cash
