Def
, i like your player choices and consider this the best structure so give it 10/10

Mids, i like most of your player choices but Redden is mainly for DT isn't he? i'd prefer you to go a bit cheaper and get in Fyfe that's just my opinion i give this line 9/10

Rucks, i have no faith in Kruezer's body i think having him and Luey is a bit risky for me i like Luey just want someone a bit more reliable then Kruezer with him give this line 9/10

Fwds, i generally like but due to Ni Nats pre season surgery not sure if he will be 100% in round 1 plus i'm not sure why you have him then no DPP link in your rucks don't really understand this and i think your spending to much cash on 2 players in here being Nic Nat and Buddy should drop one of them imo otherwise i like it and give you 8/10

so that's 36/40

it's not a bad team but with some minor changes it could be really good

Thanks.

Def, really strong line considering your 4 premos are so expensive and 4 of the best i really don't think you need Pederson as i have said previously there are enough rookie defenders that should get games don't need to waste your money on him give this line 9/10

Mids, i like your player choices but if Ball struggles your really going to struggle to beat opposition teams that have 5-6 premo mids but it's still not bad i give it 8.5/10

Rucks, standard and nice cant fault it 10/10

Fwds, overall i like your player choices but not sure about spending 1.2mil on 2 players in your forwards being Cox and Buddy i know you have Cox for DPP but even if you need him in your rucks and sub him there your forward line will be really weak also i believe Cox's scores will decline a bit as he is getting older how long can he keep it going? just don't think he is worth the 600k in your forwards you could consider Ryder or Roughead give this line 8/10

so that's 35.5/40 overall

the money saved from dropping Pederson to a rookie and Cox to Ryder/Roughead can be spent on another forward or mid which makes your team looked more balanced i think

oh yeah Thomas had/having pre season ankle surgery so watch him very closely

btw i think unless Nic Nat is fit come round 1 the DPP ruck scenario is fairly overrated just my opinion

Thanks for your feedback.  I've had a play with my team and trying a slightly different structure and was wondering your feedback.

i would really like that team if you got someone a bit cheaper then Shaw like Grimes then upgraded Pederson to an Atley or Yarran

Def, really like it good structure and good rookies 10/10

Mids, love your player choices looks like a really strong midfield good rookies at this stage also have to give 10/10

Ruck, standard and i like it 10/10

Fwds, like your player choices think you have done well with the cash you had left but think it does lack a bit of fire power am being a bit pick but am going to give this line 9/10

so that's 39/40 well done

given how strong your midfield is you could downgrade Mundy/Fyfe to a Ball/Embley then use the cash up forward foing this would prob get you a perfect score

also come round 1 there could easily be 5 rookie mids named that you want to start with so maybe be prepaired for this and have a team setup for this scenario also

thanks for the compliment mate

def
,  really like your player choices think Yarran is a really good smokie Malthouse should only help him improve like your rookie choices and your structure is good 10/10

mids, i like most of your player choices but i think i'd prefer Ball/Embley instead of Varcoe his DPP IS HANDY BUT I SEE HIM AVERAGING 80+ and the others i see averaging 90+ plus Varcoe will prob get a vest a bit he is not that bad of a pic i just think a rookie mid could easily average close to what i think he will give this line 9/10

Rucks, not sure if you know about Nic Nats pre season surgery or not it is unknown how right he will be for round 1 most people jumped off his train because of this i give this line 9/10

Fwds, i like most of your player choices but Bock has question marks surrounding his fitness for round 1 so most people jumped off the Bock train to until we hear otherwise other then that i like it 9/10

so that's 37/40 not a bad team

not many suggestions to make other than to keep an eye on Nic Nat/Bocks fitness for round 1

would consider getting in Broughton for Grimes and moving Staker to forwards for DPP link i think Broughton is a must have this season could do very well at GC we have a license to do what he wants on the field imo bit like GAJ

Thanks, happy to help :)

Def, whilst this is a risky structure i actually like it due to the amount of defender rookies that should get games think this strategy could work well your premo and rookie player choices are fine so i give it 10/10

Mids, really like what you have done here but personally don't like Murphy until he shows he can cope with tagging i don't trust him he burnt me last season i guess but still don't blame you for picking him give this line 9/10

Rucks, Standard cant fault at this stage 10/10

Forwards, love your player choices but get Lee from the Saints instead of Membrey imo, Lee is a gun give this line 9/10

so that's 38/40

so your probably asking why you didn't get perfect scores in mids/fwds well imo you should drop a premo mid for a rookie and get one premo forward or 2 midpriced forwards reason being there are a lot more rookie mids likely to play this season then forward rookies not only that rookie mids score better then forward rookies and will make you more cash

that is my preferred strategy if your going to go in with only 3 premo defenders

otherwise i like 4 prem def, 5 prem mids, 4 prem fwds

hope that makes sense lol

Def, like your player choices besides Jaksch  he is a KPP right?  KPP rookies don't really score well if they even get games even though he should at GWS i know you like the B/F DPP with Staker but why not get in Broughton instead? then you can get a better rookie, give this line 9/10

Mids, like all you player choices and the structure so deserves 10/10

Rucks
, i like it cant fault it at this stage 10/10

so 38/40  :)

only suggestions i have is i'd avoid KPP Rookies altogether unless desperate

and isn't Currie at NM R/F? think he has much more of a chance of getting games then Mr Bean

Ringo, you only named 5 starting defenders.

Thanks KB

Looked Currie but can not find anywhere where he has the DPP - In Fanplanner he is still listed as ruck only. If someone can confirm from a reliable source will add to the DPP list.

Thought of Broughton as well but does not suit my bye structure for Round 13 as I am trying not to have more than 2 prem players on the forward and def line with the same bye.

Rookies will probably change by round 1 depending on who gets games.

Jasper Pittard is the defender i missed.

kilbluff1985

yeah i was wrong about Currie my bad
