B: Goddard, Gibbs, Heppell, Broughton, Goodes, Terlich (Stevenson, Pittard)
M: Ablett, Pendlebury, JPKennedy, Cotchin, Murphy, Crouch, Viney, O'Meara (Hunter, Jones)
R: Maric, Luenberger (Witts, McBean)
F: Cox, Rockliff, Johnson, Martin, Staker, Macaffer (Lee, Membrey)

Geez it's to hot to be doing this today guys :(

Def, like your player choices and the structure cant really fault it 10/10

Mids, again really like your player choices and structure perhaps spending a bit to much cash here 9.5/10

Ruck, Maric is a great POD it seems really like it 10/10

Forwards, player choices are good Cox will go well with no Nic Nat i do prefer seeing a cheap mid pricer at F5 though so give this line 9/10

so that's 38.5/40

Suggestions, only thing i'd suggest is trying to get Varcoe in instead of Membrey by either downgrading Cox to Roughead and/or Murphy to Mundy/Fyfe

Thanks for your prev comments. Please find my revised team below. Thanks

TEAM NAME: OnReport
DEF: B. Goddard, B. Gibbs, S. Fisher, G. Broughton, L. Osborne, B. Goodes (S. Colquhoun, D. Terlich)
MID: G. Ablett jnr, D. Swan, J. Kennedy, P. Dangerfield, T. Cotchin, J. Lonergan, J. Simpson, B. Crouch (J. O'Meara, J. Viney)
RUC: T. Goldstein, M. Leuenberger (M. Daw, B. Grundy)
FWD: L. Franklin, J. Bartel, T. Rockliff, S. Wellingham, J. Daniher, B. Staker (T. Lee, S. Rowe)
CASH LEFT: $20,300

Def, like most of your player choices besides Fisher much better options out there imo so 9/10

Mids, like your player choices maybe spending to much cash here so 9/10

Rucks, standard 10/10

Forwards, Bartel is a bit old for me think there are better options Daniher prob wont play round 1 as usual i'd like to see a cheap mid pricer at F5 somehow and better options then Rowe so give it 7.5/10

so that's 35.5/40

Suggestions, not much wrong with it think you could go with a cheaper M5 like Fyfe/Mundy though and try to ad Varcoe/Knights to your forwards

well done mate, did your last team have Mumford though? i''m not a fan of him to many injuries last year and new ruck rules wont help him i'd give this team 39/40 just because of him otherwise cant fault it

was tempted to just say +! like you normally do lol but here we go

Def, pretty standard cant really fault it at this stage so 10/10

Mids, really strong like your player choices might miss out on some good rookies but still give it 10/10

Rucks, standard 10/10

Forwards, like your player choices and the structure so have to give it 10/10

Suggestions,  you might be spending to much cash in the mids but your other lines are fine so i'm happy with it

hi mate hope you enjoy

Def, i don't think you need the 5 keepers in here should save some cash and go with 4 enough rookie defenders out there i think give it 9/10

Mids, really strong and like your player choices but think your spending way to much cash here so 9/10

Rucks, Belly is a nice POD but risky with Luey so give it 9/10

Forwards, very weak because you have spent the cash elsewhere 6/10

so that's 33/40

Suggestions, there are quite a few good rookie defenders and rookie mids and not many good rookie forwards so i think you should spend more cash in your forwards and less elsewhere

Thank you for the advice, I've made the following changes but am concerned I've gone overboard on the forward line.

DEF: H. Shaw, B. Gibbs, C. Yarran, B. Goodes, B. Staker, J.Pittard (S. Docherty, D. Terlich)
MID: S. Pendlebury, G. Ablett, D. Swan, L. Ball, J. Watson, B. Moloney, J. O'Meara, O. Wines (B. Crouch, K. Mitchell)

$5,800 remaning

wont give you the usual rating as you seem to want structure advisement and your player choices are good

Defenders i will be going with 3 premos here as long as there are 4 or 5 rookies named round one i just think the cash is better spent elsewhere

Mids, i don't mind this setup but i'd say if there is a decent rookie named round one you could fit in instead of Ball i'd do that so if there are 5 good mid rookies named i'd have all of them instead of 4 of them + Ball think your mids are strong enough with out Ball

Rucks, i like seeing Cox up forward should be in the top 10 forwards even if he declines a bit but doubt he will there are a few good options in the rucks still without him

Forwards, i'd like to see 4 premiums then Varcoe+Knights this can be done by cutting a premo defender and or dropping Ball reason being i think forward rookies give the most headaches even if they get named the generally don't score well and often get a vest at some point so i like seeing the forward line with as little rookies as possible

a strategy thought of mine is have Broughton as your 4th forward premium throwing Staker in defense then if you need another premium defender you can get one easily enough then put Broughton down back permanently eventually

so i'd like your team as

Goddard, Gibbs, Grimes/Heppell

Gary Ablett jnr, Scott Pendlebury, Marc Murphy, Rory Sloane, Nathan Fyfe + rooks

Jacobs, Leuenberger

Cox, Walker, Rockliff, Broughton, Varcoe, Knights

any cash left just save it

tbagrocks

Cheers mate, kinda my thinking behind Knights and Varcoe there as well

Going to be tricky with the stupid split round one might have to risk a bit, playing rooks could change it all but I like your thinking

One thing I have noticed that teams with super scoring mids Collingwood, Adelaide, Carlton ect don't seem to have the top scoring rucks (110) with Richmond the exeption, my hesitation on the Sauce. Even Mummy couldn't match 2011 with the gun mids scoring last year, might take me right till round one to lock in a R1
