My Chumps

Opens in a week!
Who's excited?  :D

A thread to post any transfer rumours, opinions or who you'd like to see your club pick up.

Pretty cement news that Daniel Sturridge is on his way to Liverpool for around 12 million pounds. Remember his stint at Bolton? 8 goals in 12 games in the PL back in 2011. The kid can play! Ask LE :P
As a Reds fan, I'm pretty happy about the news. I knew we'd target a striker this period as support/back up for Suarez, and the added flexability of Sturridge being able to play on a wing is brilliant. Add that to the fact that he's only 23 and things are looking up for us. BUT, not counting my chickens or anything ;)
Also heard a rumour that we're keen to RE-SIGN youngster Tom Ince who we sold to Blackpool a few years ago...

But what does the Sturridge move mean for Chelsea?
Now (correct me if I'm wrong), Torres is the only real striker on their list, so surely they're going to chase someone in January?
Falcao anyone?  :O

And Demba Ba looks set to leave Newcastle as he and Papiss can't seem to fit in the same team.
QPR apparently offered him 80 000 pound a week but he turned it down :o
Arsenal and of course, Liverpool are reportedly interested.
He has a release clause around 12mil IIRC.

Tfw united don't need any new players because our team is already beast enough.

Without Vidic and Kagawa we were top of the table by 6 points...

With them we'll destroy the comp.

Falcao <3  8)

Sturridge is no loss.

And yeah, I'm excited. Although January's window isn't generally as busy.

Hawka

A handy squad player for depth would be handy at Everton but the priority has to be Keeping Baines and Felli

Seems to be a lot of rumours floating around that United have already agreed a deal with Dortmund for Robert Lewandowski, but wont take place till end of season. Yes he is a great player, but do United really need him when they have RVP, Rooney, Hernandez and Welbeck as their strikers?

He better not sell his soul to the Devils...He's too good to sit on their bench. Stay at Dortmund, son!

Well they will just let go of someone. I'm still surprised someone like Hernandez is still at Man U...

Here are some of the rumours already about the place:

Cristiano Ronaldo wants to come back to Manchester United

Maruoane Fellaini being sought after by Chelsea, potentially with a £30 million bid

The same amount of money is being reported as what Chelsea will offer Atletico Madrid for Radamel Falcao

Demba Ba has an 11.7 million escape clause in his contract; Arsenal and Liverpool both very interested

Daniel Sturridge is all but on his way to Liverpool after undergoing a medical the other day

Chelsea have told Frank Lampard to find a new club in January.

You absolute c***s.
The man has been a hero, dedicating his life to this club over the last 11 years. Captained the club to a Champions League victory, 3 BPL titles and 2 FA Cups. To cast him out like this is just rude. Take a leaf out of Manchester Uniteds books and give him a role similar to Ryan Giggs rather than throwing out a true legend of the club.

Souless Chelsea... Your club is souless...

As a Chelsea fan, I'm actually really sad about this. He's been such a valuable servant of the club for so long. It's...I don't even know what to say really. Lampard and Terry, two great players who have served the club well to both leave. It deeply saddens me.

Abrahamovich is the biggest glory-hunting White Goodman in the world - he has now sacked the captain and coach of LAST SEASON'S Champions League winning team

Master Q

What would you expect of Chelsea?

Liverpool won't do it to Gerrard unless he wants to leave...
