First Official Prices Team

Here is my first attempt at a team post-official-price release. Tear it apart:

Def: Goddard (D/M), Grimes, Gibbs (D/M), Broughton (D/F), Pittard, Goodes (D/M), (Docherty, Terlich).

Mids: Swan, Ablett, Kennedy, Fyfe, Mundy, Crouch, O'Meara, Viney, (Colquhoun (D/M), Hrovat)

Rucks: Cox (R/F), Leuenberger, (Gawn, Grundy)

Fwds: Franklin, Rockliff (M/F), Thomas (M/F), Ryder (R/F), Varcoe (M/F), Staker (D/F), (Macaffer, Lee)

Bank: $5,000

Def: Goddard, Grimes and Gibbs will be in top 5 defenders. Broughton should avg 85-100 if he gets the midfield time he deserves. Pittard, Goodes, Docherty and Terlich should all avg 65-80 and could all vie for D6/7/8 keeper status.

Mids: THe two gods need no explanation. Kennedy should up his avg next year. Fyfe and Mundy should up their avg to 100-115. All of the rookies should avg 70-80 if they don't get vested too many times.

Rucks: Pretty standard rucks.

Fwds: Buddy seems to be a POD at this stage. Rockliff and Daisy will be in the top 5 fwds. Ryder is a POD R/F DPP. Varcoe should avg 75-85 and could be a keeper. Staker and Macaffer should avg 70ish, and Lee is one of the best rookie options up forward imo.

I wouldn't pick Kennedy, Mundy and Fyfe myself but you could form a reasonable argument for picking them.

Haven't seen many teams with Ryder, a nice POD.

Good team, looks fairly well set up. :)

Grimes, Broughton, and Ryder my only complaints with this team, but I see what you're doing with Ryder. Grimes has an inflated price due to midfield time during Melbourne's injury crisis. Unlikely to happen again so won't be as good, plus injury prone, I'm staying away myself.

Grimes will have plenty of midfield time in 2013. He was only just getting started in 2012.
