Well,for what its worth,i would like to put my 2c worth in.
As a new member i have been amazed at the time and effort alot of people put into FF.
The info and advise is fantastic and the chat has been really enjoyable.
I would of thought the more people that join FF the better it would be for Monty and everyone involved.
In that, i think the boo idea totally reduces new peoples input and discourages a lot of new and diverse posts.
The last thing you would want is to upset someone or come across as a know it all.
Whats the point in the boo,really.It totally puts off new people from continuing to input,because if you tell someone new you dont like them, most would say why bother,and move on.

Does Monty read these sort of things and take them into account?
Doesn't sound like anyone would be against boo's being removed but a lot of people would come out of the closet and contribute more if they weren't around.

Ill admit early days I didnt post on a few occasions because I knew I would just get boo'd. Now I dont care, I just say what i think but when i was relatively new I did care and was careful because I didnt want a bad Cheer:Boo ratio that made me look bad. Tj is right in that its only the guys that have been on here a while that understand the ratio really means nothing. Its not just a forum for people that have been on here for ages though. Pretty sure it's designed for anyone to join and Monty would want more and more new posters coming in and contributing

Yeah look im not one to panic over getting boo'd but I still reword the way I say some things when disagreeing with someone to avoid a wave of boo's.
The mods are there to prevent people swearing and trolling. So if its not those then people should be allowed to write whatever they want and not be crucified for it. Garuntee we would have a much more active and interesting debates without the boo's

Can I just mention that if you mainly post in the front bar that boos seem to be limited...not trying to have a view is not the issue IMO...blandness is not what draws me to this site..its the variey of views...cheers / boos dont drive my interest in what someone has to say..I am a lot more interested in their ranking / seniority level in as much as they have Fantasy Footy experience. ..just thought I'd join in... 8)
