What I find funny is that somewhere around the world on the 21st there is going to be some sort of natural disaster happening weather it be a bad storm or hurricane or floods or something.. and the people that happen to be there at that time are going to poop themselves and think that it was in fact true all along

Youre actually wrong quinny, something is actually predicted to happen tomorrow.

According to scientists, tomorrow a solar flare will be released from the Sun so powerful it could knock the Northern Hemispheres power stations out for several hours.

Ill find a link if you like. :)

The sort of scientists that wear white lab coats and glasses and have pens in their top pocket?
I believe it then

Haha my Science teacher told me, make of it what you will. ;)

But seriously.....in about 30 hours time i will have finally worked out how to have 8 superpremiums, 12 premiums, 6 mid pricers and only 4 rookies in both my D/T and S/C teams...and $250k cash left over....I may not bother now.. >:(

Vincent

It's the end of the Mayan calendar. The World ends every year on dec 31 when the calendar runs out, doesn't it?

I'd like to see a link? Solar flares are unpredictable...

Remember how many "Scientists" told us that the Y2K millennium bug would be the end of us all?
At least that had a half believable concept behind it.
The same people that believed that are the ones that now believe that some tribe 3,000 years BC writting things in their sand pit and caves have it all right  ::)

Seen a couple about, easy to find on Google under Mayan calender, but off the top of me head one said the earth is moving into an area of the milky way where alot more solar activity is predicted such as flares etc, the Sun hasnt been in this area of orbit for 26,000 years blah blah blah something like that.  Not sure i saw anything that predicted flares down to a time just said over the next few months scientists are expecting more activity.

Mr.Craig

Around 150,000 people in the world die each day so for them it will be the end of the world.

Tominator

but what if you die too ? Then who gets our money?

Boomz

I have a confession to make before the end is upon us... I am the one & only Dylsta. If the world doesn't end then you never saw this.

Also, I have a date tomorrow night so please delay it by one day. kthxbai.

I'm trying to stay off Facebook so I don't have to all the bullshower people will be posting...

Which also means I'll probably have to stay off tomorrow to avoid the "we're still here" statuses...

On the topic though, I thought I read somewhere that it's supposed to end at 7pm today :o But my Dad reckons the world's ending in 2018.  :o

I don't believe either.  8)
