Staff at the Lambs are pleased to announce the formation of a reserves team for the Mongolian Lambs:

"We feel as though the formation of the UB Brumbies gives us a chance to give our younger blokes and fringe players an opportunity to have a run around on the weekend while the firsts challenge for the premiership this season. Hopefully this gives players that aren't currently in our best team a chance to develop into solid players for when some of our older guys retire over the next few years. The team will play at the recently vacated National Sports Stadium in Ulaanbaatar (where the lambs used to play home games before moving to the Bird's Nest), and will train with the main group at either Ulaanbaatar or Shanghai National Stadium. A leadership group for the reserves team is yet to be announced, but rumour has it that youngsters George Horlin-Smith, Taylor Hunt and Hayden Crozier, along with older heads in Adam Cooney, Josh Hill and Nathan Bock may be in line for a leadership spot in the new team. Bring on 2013, where it is the time for the Lambs and the Brumbies to shine!"

The Lambs are proud to announce that co-Vice Captain Ryan O'Keefe has extended his contract with the team for an additional 2 years, until the end of the 2014 season!

Having recently turned 32, the evergreen midfielder currently sits on 257 games - with his sights set firmly on the 300-game milestone. "Hopefully I can keep going beyond this contract as well," said O'Keefe of his decision to play on.

Congratulations Ryan!

Introducing Mongolia's new International Alliances:

After a three-hour board meeting in Ulaanbaatar today, it is understood that MLFC have some massive news to announce.

In a media statement from the club, reporters understand that the board of the premiership-contender football club, that recently came third in Asia's preseason competition the CW cap, have decided to stand down senior co-coach Toga from his coaching role immediately, leaving picker_man as the club's sole senior coach. Media is still unsure as to the reasons behind this big move by the Lambs, and were unable to contact head coach picker_man or any other existing officials about the decision.

Outgoing coach Toga was reached, however, and this is what he had to say about the matter: "I was contacted the other day by the board, who asked me to come in for a meeting today. I had no idea what it was about, but when I got here I found out that the club and co-coach picker_man had decided that the co-coach system was not working out, and that I would be stood down immediately."

"While I am disappointed about the decision, I understand picker_man's reasoning. I've put a lot of time and effort into organising the team and pursuing trades over the off-season, and am obviously very disappointed to be leaving the club in the premiership position that it is in, but ultimately, the decision comes down to the board and directors. I have contacted AXV commissioner Colliwobblers and expressed my interest in pursuing a head-coach role elsewhere in Asia, and hope that a position might open up for me somewhere in the future."

"Finally, I'd like to say good luck to the Lambs and all other AXV teams for the 2013 season. Thanks."

Justin Bieber

Really Pickers dumped you? Seriously?

Toga

:( Jroo

Unfortunately, yes... Wanted his teams back :(

Justin Bieber

Without you he probably would of been sacked for not naming a team at all during the pre-season... :/

At least getting your own team is good.

Toga

Yeah oh well I guess it's his call...

I'm looking forwards to having a team of my own but who knows when it might happen!
