Charlie's injury woes continue

No luck for Lambs big man Charlie Dixon who continues to suffer an injury sustained two weeks ago in our win against the Kuala Lumpur Crocodiles. Dixon will miss this week's game against the Vietnam Vipers, and is in doubt for the next week, with the injury lingering longer than we would have hoped.

"Obviously it is a disappointing blow to the team, having big Charlie out again this week" said Mongolia's coach. "Charlie has been an integral part of the side this season, really stepping up his game from last year, and was an early tip by punters to win the Best and Fairest medal for the club. We still feel as though we are going into this week's match against Vietnam in a strong position, however, as Brian Lake, who has replaced Dixon in the side, has been playing some good footy, and think he is more than capable of covering the empty spot in the backline until Charlie returns."

In other news, Kurt Tippett is training strongly, and is set to make his debut for the club in our Round 13 match against the Bangkok Crabs when his suspension ends. We look forwards to seeing big KT in Mongolian colours in a month's time.
